HOW IT ALL BEGAN It started out as a summer project with their daughters in 2011. After working for years in the stationery and personalized gifts industry, Julie Tassy started a candle business out of the kitchen. Combining her appreciation for fabulous pure soy candles, creative packaging and personalization, Ella B. Candles was established. Her idea was to personalize a line of candles for her local customers. Each of the beautifully fragranced, hand-poured, pure soy candles was named after a Charlotte neighborhood, landmark or street. After her success in the Charlotte market, she was encouraged to take the neighborhood candle concept to other cities. Based on the response from retailers in other cities, Christopher was able to leave corporate America to build the family business. Ella B. Candles are now sold in stores across the country.

THE FINE PRINT ORDER REQUIREMENTS Minimum Opening Order (per retail location): 48 11 oz Jar Candles ($600), including at least 4 fragrances Suggested Opening Order (pictured at right): 6 Neighborhood Fragrances, 8 candles in each fragrance, plus a full-sized tester for display. Testers, Tins,Votives and Custom Options cannot be counted towards opening order minimum. THERE IS NO MINIMUM RE-ORDER.

Retailers may purchase a sample kit for $25, which includes samples of all 27 Neighborhood fragrances plus one boxed 11 oz jar to burn. Ribbon and Box color swatches are available upon request. Candles.We reserve the right to protect territories for our current customers who have ordered within the previous 6 months.To qualify as a wholesale customer, you must have a retail location or online store. IN-STORE ORDERING - You will meet with the customer and help them select fragrance, size and packaging, as well as design and color scheme. Using the order form as a guide, you will go to www.ellabcandles.com and complete the order online. - Any logos or photos will be uploaded during online ordering. Acceptable files are .pdf, .ai, .eps or 300 dpi .jpg. - This will generate a proof that will be sent to you and to your customer. - Ella B. Candles will send you a wholesale invoice. You will collect the retail payment directly from your customer. - Once your customer approves the proof and you confirm the invoice, we will process the order, collect payment from you, and ship the candles within the promised time frame.

DIRECT ORDERING Should one of your customers take a catalog home and go online to order directly, you will still receive the sale. Your store’s information will be on the back of the catalog, along with ordering instructions. All online orders require a store name to be entered for an order to be accepted. At the receipt of an online order, Ella B. Candles will send you a copy of the order, so that you can contact the customer and arrange payment. We do not collect payment or deal directly with your customer, except for proof approvals and shipping confirmation. After all, it’s your customer.
