Increasing Your Income In addition to earning through Personal Sales, you have the opportunity to increase your earnings by introducing new team members. For the same reasons you’ve become a Consultant with EllaPure there are thousands of like minded people all over the country who are looking at developing an extra income. In the UK, the Direct Selling Industry grew from £1.4bn to £1.5bn in 2013 with over 400,000 active Direct Sellers.
You’re in the right place, at the right time! EllaPure were the fastest growing member of the Direct Selling Association in the UK in 2013 and we continue to grow every month. That’s all down to our incredible Consultants, Managers and Directors in this business driving the company forward, and it’s thanks to our flexible working opportunity that we are proud to have such a widespread appeal. You will never be pressurised to sell more or recruit more in EllaPure, this is your business and you’re open to build it however you wish. We reward you by paying additional bonuses and incentives along the way.
Team Bonuses We use what is called a ‘Differential’ plan. That means that we reward you for your team building efforts much faster than most of our competitors. To qualify all you need to do is £200 personal sales each month. The table below shows the levels and the Bonus you will receive. The Sales figure is the total of your Personal Sales and all the sales of your team.
Sales £800+ £1,600+ £3,000+ £4,000+ £6,000+ £8,000+

We pay you the difference between your Bonus level and your Team member’s level, as you’ll see below:
You

£400
£400
£400
In the above example you have recruited 5 people. Those 5 people may have also recruited, but we include their whole team sales into their figure. 2 of your Team have sales of £1k. Three have sales of £400, and you had Personal Sales of £1k. Your total sales are £4,200 so you’re a Manager with a 10% Bonus. You receive the difference between your bonus level (10%) and that of each team member. So on the first two people you’ll receive 6% and on the rest you’ll receive 10% of their total sales.

Recruiting Methods We strongly recommend you focus on building a front line of 5 people and show them exactly what you have done to build your business.
Keep it Simple - Duplication is not rocket science! The key to building a successful business with EllaPure is to keep your methods simple and easy to duplicate. When you recruit a new team member they should be able to pick up the business and ‘run with it’. When we over complicate the business we run the risk of either ‘scaring them off’ or making it seem more complicated than it is. The focus of everyone who wishes to build a team should be to get 5 good people in their teams retailing the products. Keep it that simple and each of your 5 recruits will recruit 5 and you will have momentum in your business!
AAAA - Any time, Any place - Always Ask! We’re not in the mind reading business so why try to second guess people all the time? If you ask, you have a 50% chance of someone being interested in joining your team. If you don’t ask it’s always 0%! In today’s climate people are always looking to save money or increase their income, we give the opportunity for both, our products are so affordable that even if they say no to becoming a Consultant you may just have met your new best Customer!
Social Media Social Media has opened up so many avenues for meeting potential new Consultants or Customers. We encourage you to embrace this exciting opportunity, for more information speak to your Manager or simply search on your favourite site for EllaPure and you’re sure to find other Consultants there and get ideas for developing your own Social Media strategy.
eCommerce As an EllaPure Consultant, you have access to a completely free website, hosted by the company. On this site your Customers, new and old are able to place orders and have them delivered direct to them. If you’ve not already got your site, simply e-mail cs@ellapure.com and we’ll get it organised for you. All sales made on your site will earn you your full commission in the same way as when you make a sale ‘Face to Face’.
Telephone Contact With the wonders of modern technology the more traditional methods of getting in touch become less common, however we strongly recommend you try the telephone as a way of spreading the word. At the back of this booklet there is a Personal Contact Sheet to fill out with the first 40 people you think of. What to say... here are a few tips to help you when making a call: Ask “Is now a good time to call?” ‘I am so excited - I have just decided to start my own business with an amazing UK Company with beautiful Organic Wonder Products, Skincare and Essential Oils. I am looking to build a team of Consultants and thought of you – we could train together, it would be great fun – and there is fantastic income potential’.

Parties A successful party is all about having a prepared Host. When you do a good job of working in partnership with your host, they will regard you as their EllaPure contact and friend this provides the basis for an ongoing relationship that will lead to more opportunities, such as future bookings or even them becoming a Consultant. At your parties have enough host packs to hand out to guests who book, plus where possible make a date to go and spend a few minutes with your host to plan the party. Each host pack should include: • • • •
A Host Letter (Available on Consultant Tools) Party Invitations 2 Catalogues 3 Order Forms (to encourage Plus orders)
Keep it Simple and you’ll get more bookings! Aim to make contact at least 3 times before the party First Contact Call 24-48hrs after booking the party to thank them for booking and to confirm that you will call or visit 10-14 days before the party. Here is an idea of what you might want to say:
‘Hi ..... it’s .......... - we met at Sue’s EllaPure party on Tuesday night. Is now a good time to call? Great, it’s just a quick call to thank you for booking your own party and I’m just calling to confirm the information. “ Let them know that you will be calling a couple of weeks before the party to make sure they have enough invitations and to discuss which host gift they would like for free or better still make a time to meet face to face. The reason for this call is so you can confirm the date as if they need to re-schedule the date it’s much better to know now than to wait until a few days before! (This 1st call is only necessary if you booked from a party, not if you plus dated) Second Contact Where possible visit the host 10-14 days before the party. This will help you in several ways. Firstly it will help you locate where they live, and secondly it will allow you to assess the size of the room and where to position your display. You want to be sure you are positioned with the guests and not tucked away in another room! Have a copy of the host letter available to cover the following points: • Go through the Host Reward Programme. • Ask your host to think of at least 2 friends who would be most likely to book a party and establish which 2 booking gifts they would choose. • Help your host with the guest list. Giving ideas of who to invite, e.g. friends, neighbours, family, acquaintances, etc. • Encourage your host to invite double the amount of guests, as not everyone who is invited will attend • Suggest that all guests are encouraged to bring a friend (highlight the invitation card where it asks them to bring a friend). • Find out where guests are coming from and encourage the host to invite people from different areas. This will help future bookings and business growth. • Explain that those who cannot attend can still order and that their order will help towards the host allowance. You could always offer an extra gift if they have £50 / £100 of orders waiting for you on arrival. • Explain the payment and delivery procedure. Collecting money can sometimes be one aspect that the host may worry about. • Recommend that the refreshments be kept simple! You want the party to be as stress- free as possible for your host. Seeing a big spread can also discourage future bookings from the guests who attend. While you are chatting, plant plenty of recruiting seeds about the benefits of joining EllaPure as a consultant, comments such as: ‘You know so many people, you should think of becoming a consultant and making this your launch’ or ‘You are so enthusiastic about the product you should consider becoming a Consultant and benefiting from the free training – so you earn while you learn!

Great Customer Service is our Number 1 Priority
Third Contact Make this call 1–2 days before the party. Resist the temptation to ask if everything is all right, as it opens the door for them to say NO and potentially postpone. Use this telephone call to reassure your host that it will be a great event and not to worry - there is still plenty of time to invite more people! Remember to thank the host for their efforts so far! Ask for an update on the status of the party, guest numbers and suggest your host makes a quick call to all her confirmed guests as well as those who haven’t yet responded. Generally it is those guests that are spoken to within 48 hours of the party who tend to come. Everyone appreciates a quick reminder. Let your host know that you will arrive about 30 minutes before the start time. Now is a good time to get specific directions and approximate travel time if you did not make a visit. Write her address and directions in your diary, along with the phone number in case you need to call. Exude confidence that the party will be a great success!
At the Party At your parties you will initially be focusing on generating sales. However, you quickly want to establish the skills to ask for bookings and to look for potential Consultant leads. The more parties you hold, the more money you will earn, your diary will be full of bookings and you will be identifying lots of recruiting leads. Creating an Effective Display Your display is your ‘shop window’ so you want it to attract attention. It can be topical or seasonal, but above all it should create an interest for the guests. To do this, here are some useful tips: • Ensure your product kit is clean and fresh. • Display products on a clean cloth as this shows the product off to its best advantage. • Have different display cloths to adapt the look of your display over the year; neutral colours are good; Large cloths that can be draped over boxes, a coffee table and the floor can, with little effort, help a tired display look stunning; • ‘Props’ e.g. silk flowers, Christmas baubles, Easter eggs/bunnies, Mother’s Day cards, postcards etc. can all be used to suggest different themes; • Insist that your display is always in the same room as the guests. Avoid the situation where your guests are in the lounge and you are in the dining room! Often the seating in a room is directed towards the television, so put your display in front of this so there can be no distraction! Try where possible to position your display at a low level to help eliminate the ‘teacher/pupil’ presentation. If your display is on a dining-room table and the guests are seated on low chairs they will only be able to see the tops of the bottles, so try to ensure that your display can be viewed from every aspect. Be creative! If you are limited to space with no table, use something like an ironing board set at the lowest level to create your display. Use boxes placed in front to provide a tiered effect and a cloth to hide the ironing board – simple but really effective! If you still have time before your event visit Citrus7.co.uk as they have some fantastic tools to help create an stunning display.

Greeting Guests Arrive at least 30 minutes before the party is due to start. This will give you enough time to set up your display and to compose yourself. Chat with the host to help her relax about the event. As the guests arrive, make sure you are there to welcome them with a smile, hand out a catalogue and order form and introduce yourself. Make an effort to enter into conversation, saying something like, ‘Have you come far tonight? Do you use essential oils / natural skincare? Get to know your first 2-3 customers by first name so you can refer to them by their first name during the party. This will help you when you are asking for dates, as these people are your first focus for your future bookings. Always start promptly as it is unfair to the people who made the effort to turn up on time to be kept waiting. Increasing Bookings from Parties Aim to get at least 2 bookings from each party as this will ensure you have plenty of dates booked into your diary. Have your diary to hand with your preferred dates clearly highlighted so you can see at a glance which dates are free. Take time now to decide when you want to hold your parties. Using a highlight pen highlight these dates in your diary so as you begin to book your dates you stay in control of when you want to work your business. Bookings don’t just happen - you need to ASK and they need to be worked at. In order to date, you need to ‘warm up’ your guests to the idea of hosting a party. Each time you do this it’s called a ‘dating bid’. Listed below are some suggested dating bids. Take time to study these and introduce them into your talk as soon as you can. Booking Tips • When thanking your host, point out the host gifts on offer and watch for people’s reactions as these could be your next hosts! • Should someone ask to see something that you haven’t brought with you, say, ‘I don’t have that with me today but when I come to do your party, I’ll make sure I have it with me.’ • A good tip is to always look busy! If you are too available the potential host will not have the urgency to book. Successful Consultants are always busy! • Move away from your display. People will then move to look at the display and you will be able to sit next to those left sitting and help with their orders. While you are helping with their order say something like,’ I would love to share an evening like this with you and your friends… • Ask if there was a theme from your list that they would like to share with their friends. • Develop radar large ears! Listen to what the guests are saying – if someone says to a friend that they can’t afford something, subtly offer them the opportunity. • Take some time to organise your diary and initially focus on the next 6 weeks. Put a band around the 6th week to prevent dates being booked too far out and then start with your family and work commitments. • Ask the host to help as she wants the extra gifts and you need the extra booking so go for team work as it will be much easier for her to ask her friends to book. Not everyone will say YES to you. The reality is that for every 10 people you ask, about 8 will say NO. This is inevitable so make life easy for yourself – get as excited about a no as you would a yes and just get into the habit of asking EVERYONE. If they do say NO, don’t take it personally – it is just that the time is not right. Overcoming objections Once you start holding parties you will hear many reasons why people can’t or won’t hold their own, but with practice you will learn to overcome these objections. For example: “I don’t know anyone” - This is said because they are worried that no one will turn up at their party. Reassure them that you will help with their guest list, and people often bring a friend and you will be glad of the practice. “My room is too small” - Try something like ‘Small rooms give the best atmosphere – how many people would you be comfortable with in your room?’ Saying this will reassure them that they don’t need large numbers to attend. “I will ask around” - Great, what I would love to do is pencil in a provisional date so (hosts name) can get the rewards for new bookings and you have a date to work on, we can always change it later. “I haven’t got time” - I understand, could I call you in a few weeks time, when things start to ease up for you?

Party Script We suggest you present your party around the Catalogue. This is the most easy to follow system. We suggest you mark up a catalogue with some of the hints and tips from your training. Introduce yourself & welcome guests I am really pleased to be here and so excited by the New EllaPure product range. This New Company was created with a fresh approach to skincare and beauty products. The basis of the Company message is the passionate belief that products put on the skin should be as pure, natural and fresh as possible after all products put onto our skin do find there way into our blood system so it makes sense to ensure you always use the most natural available. An example of this is if you were to rub a garlic clove on the base of your foot it would take approx. 15 minutes before you taste it in your mouth. This has travelled the whole route of your body and through your blood stream for you to taste it but how would you feel if it was harmful chemicals that you could taste? With this in mind we have formulated products without using synthetic parabens (these are synthetic preservatives widely used in the cosmetic industry), there is increasing evidence and many scientists now agree a correlation between the presence of parabens and the occurrence of breast cancer with a recent UK-based study published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology showing that high concentrations of parabens were found in eighteen out of twenty samples of breast tumours. In addition we have developed products that do not include SLS or SLES, this is a chemical detergent often found in many personal care products and is also a known irritant. We only use the purest of ingredients from certified organic suppliers where possible who are verified and certified by the soil association. We are totally against animal testing and can guarantee none of our products are tested on animals. We believe that the environment should not suffer in the production of beauty products therefore we only source ingredients from Sustainable Resources We believe that everyone deserves to be healthy with both inward and outward beauty. Modern society places a lot of pressure and strain upon the individual and one way to help reduce stress and keep you healthier and fitter, both physically and emotionally and without the aid of chemicals and drugs is to introduce Essential Oils to your home, in your body care and generally into your life. If you wish to do a game there are a couple of suggestions at the end of the manual. I am going to run through the catalogue with you and point out some of the special products we have to offer whilst passing some of them around for you to sample. Explain that you’ll be taking orders and that you accept all Major Credit / Debit Cards or Cash. I hope you will all consider holding your own party for your friends “staying in is the new going out” I would love to come and show the products to your friends and have a fun evening. Plus you will receive lots of free gifts for being one of our valuable hosts and when 2 of you book with me [your host] will get an extra free gift. Before I finish I would like to thank [your host] again for inviting me today, thank you all for coming and sharing in the fun, and I would like to mention we are currently expanding this area, and nationwide in fact, and we are looking for new consultants to join our team to help us keep up with demand of this new company. I personally have found the business works for me because……….. I would love to hear from you and explain more about how you can be part of this exciting company, and how you can bring extra income generating either a part-time or full-time business and tailoring it around your current lifestyle.
Party Themes We recommend you stick to a theme, we have so many amazing products to do justice to them all in 1 evening would be impossible. There are many examples of different themes available on the Consultant Tools site.

Recruiting From Parties The extra earning potential from building a team is substantial, so start recruiting from day one! You will be meeting lots of potential consultants at your parties so this is a great place to start looking for your leads. Always share your ‘one minute commercial’ either at the beginning or at the end of your Party. Keep this simple to start with and share what makes EllaPure unique and why you decided to join. Promote the Benefits Throughout your Party to mention as many of the following bids: • How much you love what you do; • The fact you receive FREE training and can earn while you learn; • You receive FREE product throughout the year; • You don’t need any experience so anyone can earn an extra income with EllaPure; • You love the flexibility - choose the hours you work, so it will fit around your current commitments. Host to Consultant Conversion One of the best ways of turning a host into a Consultant is to offer them the option of converting the party into their launch party. This is a very subtle way of introducing a new Consultant to your team and many Consultants start their EllaPure businesses this way.
Plus Dating & Service Calls There are times when, no matter how good you are, you may not date as many parties as you would like. It is at these times that you will need to ‘plus date’, which is simply dating outside a party. Here are some ways of securing plus dates: • Contact any guest who placed an order but could not attend the party. • ‘Customer Service’ calls – once a month, ring past customers to enquire how they are getting on with their purchases. Sometimes they may have forgotten how to use the essential oils correctly, which is when you can offer them their own party tailored to their own needs. • Always use the product yourself at home and at work, to stimulate interest, which may lead to a booking. • Chat with anyone you meet or do business with (hairdresser, teachers etc.) about what you do • Book yourself into any local fêtes or fairs to promote hosting a party and offer a free prize draw • Contact local organisations about fundraising. • Keep recruiting leaflets and catalogues with you at all times to hand out or post wherever possible. • Never ask “when would you like it” always I can do next x or the following x to ensure you book as close in as possible.
Retailing outside parties There are many opportunities for you to build a customer base. The following list will give you some ideas: Family, friends and work colleagues, exhibiting at craft fairs, beauty shows, country shows, open days at local gyms, health spas & boutiques. You can also promote through an existing business; for example, many of our Consultants are beauty therapists, hairdressers, aromatherapists, nail technicians, etc, and both use and sell products to their existing clients. You have the opportunity to build a strong 1 to 1 business with a strong consumable repeat business opportunity. Keeping a good database of your Customers will help you keep in touch and help promote a strong repeat business. Especially when there are special offers on.
Training & Support Available Sponsor - The person who introduced you is a great source of support, so don’t be afraid to ask them for help. Manager - A Manager works closely with their team of Consultants, communicating on a regular basis, and encouraging them to keep on track towards their personal goals. Head Office - we are here for any of your queries, our offices are open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. We hold 3 National Training events per year and regular local trainings, details will be available from your Sponsor or Manager. Within 60 Days from registration • Level 1 - Sell £800 (Approx. 6 Parties) and receive £100 worth of products of their choice. • Level 2 - When they Recruit a new Consultant who achieves Level 1 they’ll receive a further £100 worth of products of their choice. The main secret - be enthusiastic when you tell everyone what you do. Set Your Goals & Get Active It’s a good idea to set yourself some goals. Start by deciding how much time you are willing or able to give to your new business. When you have decided on that figure break that time down into Retailing time and Team Building Time. In order for you to achieve the income goal you will need to set yourself business and personal goals i.e. Number of retail parties a month, number of contacts to make each day, number of new recruits each month. Once you have your goals break them down into daily, weekly and monthly activities and ensure you review regularly. Daily Activity List 80% of your results are produced from 20% of your work. You can’t control your results, but you can control your activity. Sometimes you will speak to 10 people and get 10 positive results and other times you will get none. Therefore it is much more motivating to have an activity list and judge your success on the activity and not the results. This way you meet your goal and reinforce the habit of success. If you spoke to 3 people every day about EllaPure and taught anyone you introduced to copy this and this habit was copied through to the next generation then your business will be booming!!! On your Daily Activity List set yourself a goal for each of the categories below: • Prospecting Calls – Contact List / Referrals • Host Coaching Calls • Team Support Calls • Retailing • Planning

Party Calendar You are also able to view your Party Calendar, this is automatically populated when you place an order and add a Future Booking, when you receive bookings outside of a party it’s important that you add the date to your Calendar as this enables us to forecast our stock levels. If you also have a team you will be able to see their party dates too. Vouchers Quick Start vouchers are added to your account by Head Office once you claim them, to view your available Vouchers click View Vouchers. To claim a voucher, simply click Place an Order and select Voucher from the Order Type. Keeping track of your Sales We have a Genealogy system which shows your sales plus the sales of your team. Click Genealogy to view your progress, you can select a previous month and are able to download the data to a Excel spreadsheet. If you click your name you can breakdown your total sales into each order and also print a copy of all of your invoices. Search Team Member This tool is particularly helpful as you build your team, it list their Name, Address and upline Manager details. View Downloads This section is populated by company material, it is regularly updated with helpful tools etc which you can use to develop your business. We recommend having a good look around this area to see what’s available. FAQs & Out of Stocks The FAQ section has our most commonly asked questions, we recommend you have a look through as it may save you time looking for your answer elsewhere. This section also houses the ‘Out of Stock’ list. Before a party we recommend you check our ‘Out of Stocks’ so that you are able to inform a Customer of when an item will be delivered. Occasionally an item will be on this list as Discontinued so it is important that you don’t sell those products as you’ll be unable to order them for your Customers. If an item is temporarily out of stock, the item will be marked as To Follow (TF) when the order is received, and the TF’d product will be posted out as soon as it’s available again.
