Fashion Shoot Concept Originality, personality and unique style.
My fashion shoot would aim to promote and advertise the largely successful sports brand Nike.
The story behind the image would entail a cliché, cheesy, family birthday party thrown for one of three, Nike wearing models (Chris Baber), whose birthday will be shown through the additional of a birthday badge. The image will represents a British summer birthday party gone wrong. Featuring a bird petting area, birthday singer, bouncy castle and a large birthday cake, the scene aims to be humorous with many layers. A reportage image, it would aim to tell the story in motion. A large, landscape image; it could potentially be employed for billboards and double page magazine spreads. The theme of birthday parties would be emphasised by a Stevie Wonder lookalike who would be assumed to be signing his well-known song, “Happy Birthday”. This connection may be emphasised by a speech bubble text if necessary. The bird show would show one escaped Falcon, clutching the remains of the birthday cake as it flies away. Reacting to this would be extras in the background that would be posing as relatives.
An in-depth, detailed story image, the primary focus would be the three, centrally situated models. Looking straight at the camera
whilst stood in a triangle, a striking yet light-hearted image would be created. Ensuring a slight hint of humour and irony, the concept entails avoiding clichĂŠs, remaining to look good whatever the circumstance and standing out, which all relate to the Nike brand.
I have produced two example diagram images to visually display the structure for the photo shoot. The images show examples of photos taken on the gardens but on the day images would be taken inside the hall too. Both examples been created using Photoshop but the second image includes some of the profiled people. Inspiration
