Admissions & Scholarship ADMISSION CRITERIA Each year over 2,000 students apply to Molloy for the 400 available seats. Admission is based primarily on the grades and standardized and state test scores earned in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and on the results of the TACHS or CHSEE exam. Public School students must ensure that their 7th/8th grade teacher or guidance counselor sends the completed TACHS Ninth Grade Applicant Record form to Molloy by December 15, 2017. Preference for admission is given to students who list Molloy as their first choice. First choice applicants with marks averaging in the high eighties and above are typically good candidates for admission to Molloy.
ADMISSION TESTS
Applicants must take either the Test for Admission into Catholic School (TACHS) on November 4, 2017 or the Catholic High School Entrance Exam (CHSEE) for Long Island residents on October 28, 2017.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Named Scholarships are available for students who demonstrate financial need and meet the necessary scholarship requirements. Qualified applicants should submit a Named Scholarship Application and a one page essay outlining why they feel they should be awarded a Molloy Named Scholarship. Applications and scholarship information are available at www.molloyhs.org/named_scholarships/ Some special named scholarships honor firefighters lost on September 11, 2001.
