Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things.

My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.

The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

SATURDAY MORNING

Showering

It’s so easy to take daily tasks, such as taking a shower, for granted. We turn the faucet and know the water will flow. Take this time to commune with the gift of water, to give thanks for its life saving qualities, and pray for those who don’t have clean water. This weekend, turn your shower into a reflection of your baptism. Remember the words spoken to you during this time. Feel the water hit your body, enjoy the soap and shampoo as you bathe. Breathe in the cleansing of your body, mind and spirit prior to any other activities. Breath out the acceptance of the grace and mercy that has been given you. Enjoy the moment with a reflection of your baptism.

A Walk in Nature

Take a walk in nature. Connect with the beauty surrounding you, the trees, the clouds and sky. As you walk, realize that your feet are connecting you to this earth, the magnificent creation of God. Breathe in the air that we take for granted and let each breath fill you to capacity. Breathe slowly, enjoying the peace it creates within you. With each step, tell yourself, “I belong here.” You belong here in this moment, in this life, in this time. You were created for this. Connect with Jesus and thank Him for all the beauty you see, feel and experience.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Gazing at the Stars

Step outside tonight before going to sleep. Give your eyes time to adjust to the darkness surrounding you. Gaze heavenly. Let your eyes scan the sky. Connect with the creator of the universe. Invite Him to join you at this moment. Pause. Listen. Breathe in the name God, exhale out the word 'mystery'. So much of what surrounds us is only known by God. It is His creation that we are a part of. Invite Him to reveal just a little bit more of His mystery to you this weekend.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Checking Your Phone

Hopefully, you have not checked your phone this weekend as much as you usually do during the day. As you are heading home and back to the pace of life, check your phone. Allow it to make you fully present. Embrace the present, thankful for the moments we have shared this weekend. There is so much good that can come from our technology lifestyle. However; we have a tendency to allow it to steal our energy. As you reconnect, bring an attitude of gratitude for the many gifts it brings into our lives. Breathe in the blessing of connection and exhale being fully present. Live in such a way that technology is a blessing.
