'Giua e…' è un’incursione nelle molteplicità di Giua, artista dalla incoercibile creatività che, fresca, limpida, diretta e prorompente ci trascina nelle sue emozioni. Le tinte forti e solari ne riflettono la natura curiosa, esuberante ed ironica che le ha scelte e modulate. L’impeto dell’assemblaggio dei supporti semplici, spesso di uso quotidiano, nell'attimo di sospensione raggiunge un equilibrio proprio, dove l’attenzione si focalizza sul dettaglio che diventa scintilla e accende nello spettatore un pensiero che si sintonizza subito con la sua visione giocosa e mediatica, nel colore che diventa dipinto. Giua, energia allo stato puro, che da studentessa scappava di casa per poter suonare perché il ritmo allora come ora la pervade invadendo anche le superfici, le più svariate - stoffa, seta sperimentata giustamente a Shanghai - ma anche carta, tela cartoncino vetro fino ad arrivare a segnare gli spazi con i volumi individuati dalle sculture dalla levità direttamente proporzionale alla presenza. E la poesia si posa - un frullo d'ali di farfalla - sulle sue composizioni musicali e sulle superfici, pagine liriche in questo suo continuo alternarsi tra i due mondi che entrambi le appartengono. Giua, nata a Rapallo, artista versatile unisce due linguaggi e due passioni: musica e arti visive. Inizia giovanissima la sua carriera di cantautrice e brucia le tappe. Numerosi sono i riconoscimenti, partecipa al Festival di Castrocaro, al Premio Recanati, al Festival di Sanremo. Si dedica poi anche al teatro e alle arti visive, iniziando la sua carriera espositiva con Ellequadro Documenti che cura il suo percorso artistico. Ha partecipato a tutte le edizioni di ARTOUR-O dal 2OO5 in Italia e in Cina; 2OO7 DAIMON nello spazio di Palazzo Ducale; 2OO8 "3O e..."; 2OO9 La Stanza del Cantautore a Santa Margherita Ligure. L'artista ha partecipato a tutti gli appuntamenti del MISA.
‘Giua e...’ is an incursion into the many aspects of Giua, an artist gifted with incoercible creativity; fresh, limpid, direct and gushing, she will draw us amidst her emotions. The strong and sunny tones reflect the curious, ebullient and ironic nature that is behind their choice and modulation. The momentum in the assembling simple supports, often everyday use material, in its suspension instant reaches a balance of its own, where the attention focuses on the detail that becomes a sparkle, lighting in the spectator a thought that immediately tunes in her playful and media vision, in the colour that becomes painting. Giua, energy in its purest form, who was escaping from home when she was a student to unleash the rhythm that was pervading her, back than as well as now, invading the most diverse surfaces – cloth, silk (rightfully experimented in Shanghai), but also paper, canvas, cardboard, glass, till the delimitation of spaces with the very volumes created by sculptures, whose lightness is proportional to their presence. And poetry lays – a butterfly’s wings whirr - on her musical compositions and on the surfaces, lyrical pages in her continuous swinging between the two worlds equally belonging to her. Giua, born in Rapallo, multifaceted artist, merges two languages and two passions: music and visual arts. She begins her singer-songwriter career when she’s very young and soon forges ahead. She gains a number of accolades, participating to the Castrocaro Festival, the Recanati Award and the Sanremo Festival. She then dedicates herself to theatre and visual arts, starting her exhibition career with Ellequadro Documenti that cures her artistic path. He participated in all the editions of ARTOUR-O since 2005 in Italy and China; 2007 DAIMON in Palazzo Ducale exhibition venue; 2008 “30 e...”; 2009 “La Stanza del Cantautore” (“The room of the singer-songwriter”) in Santa Margherita Ligure. The artist participated in all the MISA events.
