It’s here! Fall Festival weekend—the oldest and largest EVL festival of the year—has finally arrived! With an endless array of fab activities planned all weekend long, you can expect to have some Fun with a capital F! Head to the Village and check out the arts and crafts show (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday), festival food (6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) and amusement rides (11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday). Check out the local shops and restaurants along the way and welcome the new ones to town! Don’t miss out on the music and nightlife. Whether you prefer to be indoors or out, a full lineup of live entertainment is planned that will have you dancin’ day and night! Take the short drive out of town to Pumpkinville and have a ball with the family! Kids of all ages love the corn maze, Jumpin’ Pillows, cow train, and much, much more. And you won’t want to miss all that yummy food that Pumpkinville is known for! Head to Holiday Valley for even more fun! Enjoy chairlift rides on Mardi Gras and Spruce chairs. Listen to live music on top of Mardi Gras and at the Cabana Bar. Or snag up great deals on gear. HV will also be hosting Saturday’s Fall Festival 5K and Sunday’s Fall Festival Mountain Bike Race. It’s been an eventful few months in Ellicottville with news of businesses bought and sold, storefronts being filled and new construction plans coming nearly every week, it seems. Visitors to Holiday Valley will immediately notice that Holiday Valley Road has changed and driving to the resort, its parking lots and beyond is a little different now. As you travel from Rt. 219 toward the resort, the new traffic pattern will take you off to the right on what was formerly Deer Crossing Rd. across from the Tamarack Club, loop up and around a three-tier parking area and return to the original Holiday Valley Road. Calling all ski racers, parents and coaches! Join us for our annual Race Weekend, Oct. 17-18 and meet US Ski Team member and two time Olympic medalist, Andrew Weibrecht. Weibrecht will be at Mud Sweat N’ Gears (MSG) on Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. for poster signing, selfies, etc.

Athletes and parents will have the opportunity to talk with Weibrecht and learn why he is regarded as one of the most humble, hard-working athletes on the US Ski Team. Weibrecht was born in Lake Placid, NY and grew up ski racing at Whiteface Mountain. Weibrecht races in all five
