Five New Dining Options Village to Issue $4.9M in in Ellicottville Sewer Plant Bonds BBQ and French Added to the Mix

The rumors are true — soon visitors and locals will have five new dining options in Ellicottville and two are set to open in the next few days. The Armor Inn, with its original location in Hamburg, N.Y., is opening a second location in the Village Centre plaza next to the Red Apple store on Mill Street, on Friday, Dec. 19. The family-friendly restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner including affordable, lipsmacking BBQ for the whole family. You can look forward to lounging in the comfortable bar area, a perfect gathering place in the evening for adults to watch big-name, national blues acts on their stage.

More Than $11,000 to Benefit to Santa’s Workshop The spirit of the season was unmatched at last Friday night’s Irish Christmas held at the Gin Mill. According to Greg Cappelli of the Ellicottville Rotary Club, “We raised more than $11,000 with the pie auction, the birdhouse pie stand and other things Irish. Not to mention the wagon load of toys that generous donors brought.” The top pie bid was $775 for MariBeth Rick’s double pie awarded to Tom Bradish. The highest bid amount — $2,000 for a special New Year’s dinner at Ilio DiPaolo’s, donated by Patty and Michael DiPaolo – was won by Mike Young.
