TEACHERS
Jaclyn Durham
Hello, I’m Jaclyn Durham! Being a teacher is a profoundly challenging and rewarding job! I wake up every day smiling, knowing I can grow, influence a life, inspire a child, and love what I do. Kindergarten teachers are the first people to pass on the passion of learning to students.
I received my Bachelors in Education Studies and Physiology from Ripon College and my Masters in Special Education from Cardinal Stritch University. I have been teaching for a total of 19 years, 12 of which have been here in Elmbrook! I love reading, watching movies, camping and playing with my daughters, Reagan, Abigail, and Grace.
Nikki Haskey
Hello, I’m Nikki Haskey! Teaching provides a new adventure each day, and teaching students is the most fulfilling way to spend every day! I love when I see a child have that "lightbulb moment" and experience such joy and pride in their accomplishments.
I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Education from UW-Whitewater in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and my K-12 Reading Teacher License from Carroll University. I have been teaching for a total of 24 years, and this is my 12th year in Elmbrook! The time that I spend with my family is my favorite- we love camping, watching sports, and traveling.
Jill Lippe
I’m Jill Lippe! I love experiencing a student’s “lightbulb” moment in learning and sharing my love for reading with them each and every day. Seeing the growth of my students throughout the year and collaborating with my Kindergarten teachers are what I love most about teaching.
I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and have been teaching for seven years, with four of those in Elmbrook! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading mystery novels and traveling with my family in our travel trailer.
Megan Perinovic
Hello, I’m Megan Perinovic! When I’m in the classroom, I continue to be captivated by the eagerness of my students to learn and am spellbound by their incredible achievements. I love being able to be a positive influence on my students as they constantly inspire me with their excitement towards learning and life.
I earned my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, my Masters from Carroll University, and this is my sixth year at Dixon Elementary! I love to learn and I just received my Reading Teacher License at Carroll University and my Reading Specialist License. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, photography, and traveling. Being a teacher isn’t a job, it’s a passion!
