Go E'LON! One Million Women Strong In May 2008 we created the blueprint for a business unit which would provide meaningful support to women and girls around the globe as they move from challenges to stability, and self-sufficiency. We have come to understand that when the lives of the world's women and children are at stake...there are no silent witnesses. Today, join the “E'LON Project!” and help us change the world! The E’LON Project is a collaboration of voices helping move local, regional and international philanthropic projects which connect to provide women with the tools they need to develop positive self-images paired with the resources to move from challenging life situations, crisis and poverty, to stability and economic selfsufficiency, thereby creating stable lives, healthy families and children within livable communities. The E’LON Project's vision is to be one of the most effective voices for the concerns of women in our communities locally and internationally. The E’LON Project's local vision is to partner with organizations for women which increase self-confidence, promote positive self images, and that build greater awareness of economic self-sufficiency, and improve a woman’s overall general health, family life, and community. The E’LON Project's International work is to help improve women’s status in the impoverished nations on the African Continent. We will strive to help build and support communities to give equal rights and opportunities to women through our programs of self-help to self-sufficiency. The E’LON Project is committed to the long term process of helping to build a network of economic supports for women in the countries where we work. How can you help? When you join the E'LON Project you help us to spread the word through our GO E’LON “One Million Women Strong” campaign. That's it. From The Publishers Desk
I first met our cover model Judy DiAntonio at a shoot I was doing for the magazine with another photographer. She walked in the room with a host of other models, other photographers and production crew members. My first thought was that she was one of the team members. Not because she’s not beautiful, but because she was carrying all of her own props, rolling her own garment rolling rack and had bags upon bags of stuff with her. This month you have a chance to find out why I was so impressed with this wife, mom and career woman, turned in demand model as we discuss her new ambitions and never giving up on your dreams on P. 72 Over the past few years another woman who I have had the pleasure of knowing has been making inroads into new territory. Judge Tracie Marie Hunter is the first African-American female Judge in Hamilton County Ohio’s Juvenile Court. While this in and of itself is incredible in the year 2013, the fact that Judge Hunter has had to sue Hamilton County to even occupy the seat she won by election, makes this woman’s history even more compelling for our daughters and granddaughters. Read Judge Hunter’s story and interview written by Dr. Adonica Jones-Parks beginning on P 37. As we turn to the hero’s who make up Women’s History Month we also turn to Bonnie St. John’s story. She has been named as one of the top five most inspiring

The Power Of A Woman women in America. Becoming the first African-American to win medals in Winter Paralympics competition as a ski racer, her message of falling down and getting up—in life, at an Olympic ski race, or in business—has been sought after by CEOs, recognized in the White House, celebrated on a Starbucks Cup and honored with a doctoral degree for her lifetime commitment to motivating people. Read Bonnie’s story on P. 100 as a part of our Smart Talk Connected Conversation series. This issue isn’t entirely dedicated to Women’s History. Yet, we are making history as we go in search of the Perfect Wedding Dress. Read Tanya Nelson’s planned strategy at finding the perfect wedding dress on P.64 And, head down the Mississippi Delta with film producer, Greg Livingston as he brings to life the legendary story and film of Blues Man, Bill Perry on P.88 So sit back grab that cup of coffee and enjoy this issue with us.

They’ll reveal what they’ve learned along the journey to create the life they have always dreamed of.
Tanya Nelson went in search of the perfect wedding dress but was overwhelmed and amazed by the choices. Calling off her wedding until she could find the perfect dress she devised a plan to help her sort through it all.
“Bill “Howl-N- Madd” Perry is without a doubt, the quintessential Mississippi blues man”, says film producer Greg Livingston. His story pays tribute and tells the history of an extraordinarily humble man. “He’s the guy who taught me my first chords on a guitar. Simply put, he’s a blues man.”
