The gathering includes wisdom sessions designed for teachers working at the elementary, middle and high school levels. For alumni who remember Holland House in its former location and use as the president’s home on Haggard Avenue, don’t miss this chance to view the building in its new location across the railroad tracks. Gospel Choir Service & Reception 10 a.m. Whitley Auditorium

Enjoy the musical performances and artistic expressions of the Gospel Choir, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary. The Rev. Wesley McLaughlin ’78, a founding member of the choir, will be the special guest speaker. All alumni, students and families are welcome. A commemorative reception with light refreshments will be held on Long Patio immediately following the service.

Staff from the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life will lead a service that is ecumenical in nature and open to all members of our community. A coffee/bagel fellowship precedes the service at 10:30 a.m. in the basement of Holt Chapel.

Building upon last season’s semifinal appearance in the Southern Conference Tournament, the Phoenix, led by sophomore sensation Chelsey Stark, look forward to another high-flying year.

Members of the Class of 1961 and all Elon graduates who have previously celebrated their 50th class reunion are invited to attend. The Class of 1961 will be honored as its members are inducted into the Golden Alumni Group. Check-In Central is located in the Commuter Lounge in Moseley Center and will be open Friday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 22, 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Registration packets for alumni who have pre-registered, which will include event and football tickets, should be picked up at Check-In Central; no tickets are mailed in advance of Homecoming weekend. Limited on-site registration is available at this location. Football Tickets

Football tickets will not be mailed in advance of Homecoming. Please plan to pick up your tickets at Check-In Central in Moseley Center on Friday or Saturday. Tickets that are not picked up by 1 p.m. on Saturday will be available 2–3 p.m. that day at the Homecoming Will Call tent behind the Alan J. White Bell Tower. Tickets will NOT be available at the stadium’s Will Call window. Get Tagged!

Shuttle Service for Golden Alumni, Order of the Oak & Class of 1961

Elon’s Office of Gift Planning is pleased to offer shuttle service for all members of the Order of the Oak, Elon’s planned giving society, in addition to Golden Alumni and the Class of 1961. Shuttle service will be available Friday, Oct. 21, from Johnston Hall Alumni Center to Moseley Center 11 a.m. –4 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 22, the shuttle will provide transportation from Johnston Hall to the tailgating area and stadium. The service will run 12:30–4 p.m. and again from the beginning of the fourth quarter through 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. To reserve your spot on the shuttle, please call Kathryn Bennett in the Office of Gift Planning at (336) 278-7431. Parking

Parking on Friday, Oct. 21, will be available in the Moseley Lot (except for Admissions visitor spaces) and the McMichael and Harper Center lots at no charge. On Saturday, parking will be available in the grassy lot off of South Oak Avenue for 5 per car. Shuttle service will provide round-trip service to campus and back. Tailgating spots are also available for purchase. Please refer to the tailgating section on p. 4 for further information.
