Foundations

for Success

Global Perspective Elon MBA students don’t just learn about the international marketplace. They travel and study in markets across the world. Two study trips a year take students to Asia, South America or Europe. Students visit international investment banks and the manufacturing sites of global firms, local markets and small workshops. They meet international business managers, visit shop floors and tour some of the biggest port facilities in the world.

Ethical Leadership Students explore the foundations of their ethical standards, learn about their individual approach to decisions and determine how to apply ethical decision making to a wide variety of situations. They learn to consider the conflicting goals of people who feel that they too are acting in an ethical manner, and how to negotiate the best outcomes for all.

Integrated Academics Courses build upon one another in an integrated framework that emphasizes the practical application of theory. Case analysis, group projects and consulting opportunities are built into the classroom experience, giving students the opportunity to apply concepts from across the curriculum in real-world applications. The program culminates in an intensive case competition, evaluated and judged by high-level business professionals, that selects the winning team from each year’s graduating class.

Community When you enroll in the Elon MBA, you join a community of students, faculty and staff who move with you through the program as colleagues and friends. An active student-alumni association ushers new students into the program and organizes service projects, social outings and other activities that serve students, alumni and their communities. You become part of a network of students and alumni who will help you throughout the rest of your career.
