Texas Acres Land - Up and Coming Texas Acres is a wonderful subdivision located right on the lake. It has its own boat ramp and picnic area for all residents to use. The POA are located and live in this subdivision. They are extremely dedicated people who personally take care of this subdivision.
Some of the improvements done to Texas Acres recently include repairs to the roads, as well as adding a compressed rock foundation to multiple streets. In addition, repairs have been done to the bulkhead at the boat launch park. The Onalaska Water Dept. as approved money to develop a plan to install fire Hydrants. This will enable a rate reduction for homeowners insurance. This subdivision is active and consistently making improvements.
Property owners have direct access to Lake Livingston, which is the second largest lake in Texas. People catch all sorts of fish in Lake Livingston, such as catfish, hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, striped bass, and white crappie. Some of the neighboring subdivisions around Texas Acres includes Oak terrace Estates, River Lakes, Livingston Village, and Pine Harbor Estates. Texas Acres is a very secure and family based community with people that make it a wonderful place to live.
Texas Acre's nearest malls and entertainment are in Huntsville, about 40 minutes away. It's hard to find Texas Acres Lots for sale as the owners of those lots are reluctant to sell. This subdivision is also expected to be a part of Onalaska City Limits in the near future. Right now, the subdivision is not part of any city limits (there private). However, the lovely Lake Livingston State Park is very close, so there is always something to do in Texas Acres.
