Chipotle says U.S. pork supply problem coming to an end Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc (CMG.N) is closing the book on its carnitas crisis of 2015. The burrito seller said it has restored most of the pork supplies it lost early this year after suspending a supplier for not complying with its animal welfare standards. Denver-based Chipotle said it is now serving carnitas in 90 percent of its more than 1,850 restaurants. Some 600 restaurants were affected by the cut in its pork supplies. Outlets in the Cleveland and Atlanta areas, as well as in North Carolina and South Carolina, are still awaiting supplies, the company said, adding it expects to have all restaurants resupplied by the end of November. Chipotle in January said the suspension came after a routine audit found inconsistencies between an unnamed, primary pork supplier’s operations and the chain’s protocols. Existing pork suppliers and a new partner, UK-based Karro Food, filled the supply gap. Chipotle won a loyal following by offering meat from animals that have never received antibiotics. Still, it serves conventionally raised chicken when such supplies fall short. Hispanic Heritage Month?

The not-so-discreet charm of Pope Francis

Since 1968, the United States has been recognizing the contributions of Hispanic immigrants with the dedication of a special date for celebration, which was established back then with one week. In 1988, the United States Congress approved Public Law 100-402, which commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. Hispanics are the largest and fastest-growing ethnic minority in the country. It is estimated that the figure of 55 million Hispanics living in the US will double within 50 years. The Hispanic community is a fundamental part of this nation in all areas – politics, economics, education, the arts, sports, religion, science, etc. These have been days of absurd attacks against the Hispanic community from political sectors. In reality, it has not been a good atmosphere for Hispanics as of late. But the fact of our heritage weighs more than empty words. And that fact has to be celebrated!

Desde el año 1968 los Estados Unidos decidió reconocer el aporte de los inmigrantes hispanos con la dedicatoria de una fecha especial de celebración, que se inicio en aquel entonces con una semana y en el año 1988, el Congreso de la nación aprobó la Ley 100-402, que conmemora el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, del 15 de Septiembre al 15 de Octubre. Los hispanos somos la minoría étnica más grande del país pero también la de mayor crecimiento. Se estima que dentro de 50 años se duplicará la cifra de los 55 millones de hispanos que habitan en el país. La comunidad hispana es parte fundamental de esta nación, en todas las áreas: Política, económica, educativa, artística, deportiva, religiosa, científica, etc. Han sido estos días de ataques absurdos de sectores politicos contra la comunidad hispana. Realmente los hispanos no hemos tenido una buena atmósfera durante estos días. Pero los hechos de nuestra herencia pesan más que las palabras vacías. Y hay que celebrarlos!

It is interesting to know about the warm reception given to Pope Francis in his trip to the US. This is not the first time a pontiff is received thusly; the charisma and way with people of the late John Paul II earned him the appreciation of multitudes everywhere he went. But in the case of Pope Francis, charisma and people skills are not enough to explain why the American people gave him an effusive welcome. We must look into something else. The most observant highlight how the Pope sees Catholicism: less stale than that of his predecessors, including John Paul II himself. It is not just about the poverty vows of his Franciscan order, which he observes rigorously, or making divorces less cumbersome to process. Neither is it about any orientation toward reforming a powerful and possibly corrupt church bureaucracy. It is also about his striking positions on immigration and climate change and his unmitigated criticism of capitalism. Because of all that, the enthusiasm about Pope Francis is justified. But that enthusiasm has to be put in a more skeptical

perspective. Some see his conciliatory expressions on homosexuality as a watershed moment, but we believe that a more realistic description is that of a transition from intolerance to tolerance. The problem is that tolerance has its own shortcomings because it starts from an initial rejection of something or someone. Simply put, tolerance does not harm the person with whom we disagree, but neither does it accept that person without reservations. And here is where the limits of Pope Francis’ conciliatory tone can be seen, because it does not come along with a complete change of mind about homosexuality within the Catholic Church. Hence, Pope Francis represents a very modest opening, not a change in course. Regarding his message to Congress, we must say that it did not lean to the right or the left. It was a pastoral message rather than a political one. Nevertheless, it will have a political impact: both sides will cling to the parts most convenient to their partisan purposes. Democrats will take on the subject of climate change with renewed

energy because Pope Francis proved them right, but Republicans were very attentive when he said that the family (meaning the traditional family, not the same-sex one) is under siege. In the shorter term, the top beneficiaries of the message are Republicans, because it vindicates them enough to demand the defunding of Planned Parenthood more stridently. Those willing to shut down the federal government if defunding does not occur (regardless of the consequences for them and others) will see the Pontiff as an unconditional ally, even if he is Catholic and many of them are not. But not everything about Pope Francis is subject to criticism, for his candor and lack of fear to express himself are admirable. If Donald Trump speaks first and thinks later, the Pontiff appears to have meditated a lot about the subjects he has expressed himself in public. And it is surely better to have initiated a very modest aperture than insisting in an orthodoxy that, in the eyes of everybody, alienates people rather than attracting them.

Con su mensaje en el Congreso de los Estados Unidos hasta su oratoria frente a decenas de países en las Naciones Unidad en Nueva York, hemos observado como el sumo pontífice ha llevado a pensar(nuevamente) sobre una reforma migratoria justa para todos. Hemos de pensar, que no solamente existe una problemática

migratoria en el occidente, si no que también el oriente vive un caos migratorio; tal y como los refugiados sirios en donde buscan asilo y un mejor futuro para sus familias en países como Alemania por mencionar algunos. Era de esperarse, que en algún momento de la his-

Mr Trump may not be a natural fit for this Republican constituency, but it appears he’s not going to cede these voters to another candidate without a fight.

Between 1840 and 1889, 14.3 million immigrants came to the U.S., and between 1890 and 1919, an additional 18.2 million arrived (see Table 1 for details). After the replacement of the nation’s Europeanfocused origin quota system, greater numbers of immigrants from other parts of the world began to come to the U.S. Among immigrants who have arrived since 1965, half (51%) are from Latin America and one-quarter are from Asia. By comparison, both of the U.S. immigration waves in the mid-19th century and early 20th century consisted almost entirely of European immigrants.

Fifty years after passage of the landmark law that rewrote U.S. immigration policy, nearly 59 million immigrants have arrived in the United States, pushing the country’s foreign-born share to a near record 14%. For the past half-century, these modern-era immigrants and their descendants have accounted for just over half the nation’s population growth and have reshaped its racial and ethnic composition. Looking ahead, new Pew Research Center U.S. population projections show that if current demographic trends continue, future immigrants and their descendants will be an even bigger source of population growth. Between 2015 and 2065, they are projected to account for 88% of the U.S. population increase, or 103 million people, as the nation grows to 441 million. These are some key findings of a new Pew Research analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data and new Pew Research U.S. population projections through 2065, which provide a 100-year look at immigration’s impact on population growth and on racial and ethnic change. In addition, this report uses newly released Pew Research survey data to

examine U.S. public attitudes toward immigration, and it employs census data to analyze changes in the characteristics of recently arrived immigrants and paint a statistical portraitof the historical and 2013 foreign-born populations. Post-1965 Immigration Drives U.S. Population Growth Through 2065 Immigration since 1965 has swelled the nation’s foreign-born population from 9.6 million then to a record 45 million in 2015.1 (The current immigrant population is lower than the 59 million total who arrived since 1965 because of deaths and departures from the U.S.)2By 2065, the U.S. will have 78 million immigrants, according to the new Pew Research population projections. The nation’s immigrant

population increased sharply from 1970 to 2000, though the rate of growth has slowed since then. Still, the U.S. has—by far—the world’s largest immigrant population, holding about one-in-five of the world’s immigrants (Connor, Cohn and Gonzalez-Barrera, 2013). Between 1965 and 2015, new immigrants, their children and their grandchildren accounted for 55% of U.S. population growth. They added 72 million people to the nation’s population as it grew from 193 million in 1965 to 324 million in 2015. This fast-growing immigrant population also has driven the share of the U.S. population that is foreign born from 5% in 1965 to 14% today and will push it to a projected record 18% in 2065. Already, today’s 14% foreign-born share is a near historic record

for the U.S., just slightly below the 15% levels seen shortly after the turn of the 20th century. The combined population share of immigrants and their U.S.born children, 26% today, is projected to rise to 36% in 2065, at least equaling previous peak levels at the turn of the 20th century. The 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act made significant changes to U.S. immigration policy by sweeping away a longstanding national origins quota system that favored immigrants from Europe and replacing it with one that emphasized family reunification and skilled immigrants. At the time, relatively few anticipated the size or demographic impact of the post-1965 immigration flow (Gjelten, 2015). By 2015, that share had declined to 62%. Meanwhile, the Hispanic share of the U.S. population rose from 4% in 1965 to 18% in 2015. Asians also saw their share rise, from less than 1% in 1965 to 6% in 2015. The Pew Research analysis shows that without any post-1965 immigration, the nation’s racial and ethnic composition would be very different today: 75% white, 14% black, 8% Hispanic and less than 1% Asian. The arrival of so many immigrants slightly reduced the nation’s median age, the age at which half the population is older

and half is younger. The U.S. population’s median age in 1965 was 28 years, rising to 38 years in 2015 and a projected 42 years in 2065. Without immigration since 1965, the nation’s median age would have been slightly older—41 years in 2015; without immigration from 2015 to 2065, it would be a projected 45 years. By 2065, the composition of the nation’s immigrant population will change again, according to Pew Research projections. In 2015, 47% of immigrants residing in the U.S. are Hispanic, but as immigration from Latin America, especially Mexico (Passel, Cohn and Gonzalez-Barrera, 2012), has slowed in recent years, the share of the foreign born who are Hispanic is expected to fall to 31% by 2065. Meanwhile, Asian immigrants are projected to make up a larger share of all immigrants, becoming the largest immigrant group by 2055 and making up 38% of the foreign-born population by 2065. (Hispanics will remain a larger share of the nation’s overall population.) Pew Research projections also show that black immigrants and white immigrants together will become a slightly larger share of the nation’s immigrants by 2065 than in 2015 (29% vs. 26%). The country’s overall population will feel the impact of these shifts. Non-Hispanic whites are projected to become less than half of the U.S. population by 2055 and 46% by 2065. No racial or ethnic group will constitute a majority of the U.S. population. El 45 por ciento de las jóvenes mexicanas tienen su primera relación sexual sin ningún tipo de protección, reveló el presidente del Colegio de Ginecología y Obstetricia local, Raúl Cortés Flores. En el marco del Día de la Prevención del Embarazo no Planificado en Adolescentes, a celebrarse el 26 de septiembre, dijo que esta situación provoca serios problemas económicos, sociales y de exclusión a las mujeres. “En la primera relación sexual en este grupo de mujeres, de 15 a 19 años, menos de la mitad, un 45 por ciento, utiliza algún método anticonceptivo, es decir algún tipo de protección“, subrayó. Señaló que el 31 por ciento de estas jóvenes, cuya primera relación sexual ocurre entre los 15 y 19 años de edad, no recibe ningún tipo de atención

médica prenatal, debido a falta de información adecuada. Desafortunadamente, subrayó, casi un 20 por ciento de estos embarazos no planificados termina en

abortos, lo cual deriva en una serie de trastornos físicos y sicológicos en las jóvenes. “Otro dato alarmante es que una tercera parte de las pacientes no reciben

atención prenatal y estas llegan a la atención de su parto sin haber tenido ninguna sola atención“, subrayó. El especialista manifestó que en el país alrededor de

77 de cada mil nacimientos corresponden a este grupo de jóvenes. También destacó que “en México sólo el 40 por ciento de las mujeres van

al ginecólogo una vez al año y el 25 por ciento únicamente acude ya cuando se siente muy mal”. Cortés Flores dijo que esto “refleja la necesidad de establecer estrategias que nos ayuden a acercarnos con todas las mujeres en edad reproductiva que han aplazado su visita al ginecólogo”. En las mujeres jóvenes y adolescentes aún existen barreras culturales, sociales y personales que limitan el acudir al ginecólogo, añadió. Señaló que a escala mundial se registran cerca de 16 millones de nacimientos y para aumentar la gravedad de esto, el 95 por ciento ocurren en naciones en vías de desarrollo. “Tres millones de abortos ocurren en esta etapa del embarazo y una quinta parte prácticamente de estos embarazos, -en jóvenes- de 15 a 19 años, el bebé muere”, dijo.

Rare ‘healthy’ smokers’ lungs explained El Sol de Ohio Special Report

The mystery of why some people appear to have healthy lungs despite a lifetime of smoking has been explained by UK scientists. The analysis of more than 50,000 people showed favourable mutations in people’s DNA enhanced lung function and masked the deadly impact of smoking. The Medical Research Council scientists say the findings could lead to new drugs to improve lung function. But not smoking will always be the best option, they say. Many, but not all, smokers will develop lung disease. But so too will some who have never touched a cigarette in their lives. The researchers analysed the huge amount amount of health and genetic data from volunteers to the UK’s Biobank project.

They looked at Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which leads to breathlessness, coughing and repeat chest infections. The condition is thought to affect three million people in the UK and includes diseases such as bronchitis and emphysema. By comparing smokers and non-smokers as well as those with the disease and without they discovered sections of our DNA

that reduce the risk of COPD. So smokers with “good genes” had a lower risk of COPD than those with “bad genes”. Prof Martin Tobin, one of the researchers at the University of Leicester, said the genes seemed to affect the way the lungs grow and respond to injury. But he told the BBC News website: “There doesn’t appear to be any kind of magic bullet that would

give anyone guaranteed protection against tobacco smoke - they would still have lungs that were unhealthier than they would be had they been a nonsmoker. “The strongest thing that people can do to affect their future health in terms of COPD and also smoking-related disease like cancer and heart disease is to stop smoking.” The habit also increases the risk of heart disease

and cancers, which are not considered in this study. The scientists also uncovered parts of the genetic code which were more common in smokers than non-smokers. They seem to alter the brain’s function and how easily someone can become addicted to nicotine, although that still needs to be confirmed. Prof Tobin said the findings offered “fantastic new clues about how the

body works that we really had little idea about before and it’s those things that are likely to lead to some really exciting breakthroughs for drug development.” Their findings were presented at a meeting of the European Respiratory Society and published in the Lancet Respiratory Medicine journal. Ian Jarrold, the head of research at the British Lung Foundation, said: “These findings represent a significant step forward in helping us achieve a clearer picture about the fascinating and intricate reality of lung health. “Understanding genetic predisposition is essential in not only helping us develop new treatments for people with lung disease but also in teaching otherwise healthy people how to better take care of their lungs.” Credit: BBC News.

Men and women in the study who snoozed for 9 or more hours per night had more calcium in their arterial walls and stiffer arteries — two factors that put them at risk for heart disease — than those who slept 7 hours a night. However, people who slept for 5 or fewer hours per night also showed these two risk factors, according to the study. Sleep quality mattered, too. The researchers found that the people who said they slept poorly were more likely to have these two early signs of heart disease than those who said they slept better, according to the study, published today (Sept. 10) in the journal Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology. Previous studies had found that inadequate sleepis associated with an increased risk of heart attack and stroke, Dr. Chan-Won Kim, an associate professor at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in South Korea and one of the lead authors of the study, said in an email. But it’s possible that other factors, such as depression or obesity, also

contributed to the risk, he said. “A key characteristic of our study is that we studied early markers of heart disease in healthy men and women, before symptoms related to heart disease occur,” Kim told Live Science. In the study, the researchers looked at more than 47,000 young and

middle-age adults who reported how long and how well they slept. For about 29,000 of the participants, the researchers looked at data from health screening tests on the amount of calcium in the arteries. For the other 18,000 participants, the researchers looked at data on how stiff the arteries were. The study showed a “U-

shaped curve” between sleep duration and these early signs of heart disease, he said. That means that, as you approach either extreme, your risk of heart diseasegoes up. But sleep needs can vary from person to person, Kim said. Some people might feel well rested with just 6 hours of sleep, as opposed to the standard recommended 7 hours, he said. It is important for people to both get enough sleep and get good-quality sleep, Kim said. It could be that there really is an optimal amount of sleep, and when people veer away from that, their health is affected, said Dr. Susan Redline, a professor of sleep medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, who was not involved in the study. Many studies have reported increased rates of stroke, heart disease and even early death in people

who sleep too long or too short, Redline told Live Science. And sleep problems are consistently associated with risk factors for the development of heart disease and diseases of the blood vessels, such as hormone disturbances and inflammation, she said. Given the link between sleep and heart health, it’s important for doctors to ask patients about disturbances in their sleep, Redline said. “Just as you would recommend someone who’s overweight to lose weight, or someone who’s smoking to stop smoking,” people who are having trouble sleeping should be encouraged to see a sleep specialist, she said. “It’s much easier to prevent disease than to treat disease,” she said. El gobierno de Estados Unidos entregó al de México la primera información de los ciudadanos mexicanos con cuentas en instituciones financieras en este país que recibieron más de 10 dólares en intereses el año anterior. A su vez, México enviará a Estados Unidos la información de residentes estadounidenses con cuentas o inversiones en instituciones mexicanas por más de 50 mil dólares en el caso de personas físicas, o arriba de 250 mil dólares cuando se trate de personas morales. Con ello, se da cumplimiento al acuerdo intergubernamental celebrado en 2012 entre México y Estados Unidos para intercambiar información bancaria y financiera, con el propósito de verificar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones fiscales de sus respectivos contribuyentes.

Robos, atracos, arrebatones y asesinatos se cometen diariamente en Venezuela mediante el uso de la motocicleta, un vehículo que se ha convertido en sinónimo de delito y en una calamidad pública para los ciudadanos. “Sólo en el año 2014, unos 150 jóvenes fueron asesinados por resistirse a entregar su moto a bandas delictiva especializadas en el robo de estos vehículos”, precisó Ramón Matute, ex Jefe de Capturas de la extinta Policía Técnica Judicial (PTJ). En conversación con Notimex, Matute dijo que en la comisión de los delitos anteriormente mencionados siempre aparece involucrada una moto, la cual bandas delictivas organizadas convirtieron en un medio rápido, eficaz y seguro para abandonar la escena del crimen. “En Venezuela extrañamente se eliminó el patrullaje policial, así como los módulos o alcabalas

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, urged the U.S. Congress to allow food companies to sell to Cuba on credit, favoring it as a first step in a gradual repeal of sanctions against the Communist-led island. Hutchinson, a Republican, is the first U.S. governor to visit Cuba since Washington and Havana restored diplomatic relations in July after a 54-year break. He leads an Arkansas trade delegation, seeking an edge as states jockey to take advantage of the U.S. opening to Cuba. Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo led a similar delegation in April. U.S. President Barack Obama has used executive authority to relax parts of the comprehensive trade embargo of Cuba and has asked Congress to lift it completely. Hutchinson, a former member of Congress and senior official in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, called the exten-

sion of credit “the logical next step.” “That doesn’t require the full lifting of the embargo,” Hutchinson said in an interview. “Once that is done, then let’s see commerce be extended and increase. Panama’s murder rate has dropped by 21.4% in the first nine months of 2015 compared to the same period last year, official figures suggest. In Colon, Panama’s most murderous city last year, the number of homicides more than halved, according to figures by the security ministry. Officials say a programme to rehabilitate gang members has been key in driving the figure down. But a poll suggests the perception of insecurity in Panama remains high. Panama does not have as serious a gang problem as other Central American nations such as Honduras and El Salvador. But Panamanian gangs are believed to be behind the majority of the murders committed in recent years and also play a key part in drug trafficking. Security Minister Rodolfo Aguilera says a programme offering gang mem-

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden would be invited to participate in the first Democratic presidential primary debate if he announces his intent to run for the office, according to guidelines released by CNN, which is hosting the event. Biden meets all but one of the criteria required to participate in the Oct. 13 event, which is sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee. He has not formally declared his intent to run for the office. So far five Democrats have been invited to participate in the debate: Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee and former Virginia Senator Jim Webb. Under the criteria CNN released on Monday for participation in the debate, candidates must meet the requirements established in the U.S. Constitution, commit to filing a state-

Biden has been receiving between 17 percent and 25 percent support in polls over the last 10 days or so. Biden, 72, has said he is still coping with the death of his son Beau earlier this year and is not sure whether he is up to the demands of a presidential race. The online dating website OkCupid ranked colleges and universities analyzed on the habits of users from those schools and their responses to personality questions to determine a ranking of colleges based on attractiveness, writing, partying and sex drive. OkCupid’s ranking is limited to the top 20 colleges in U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings of best universities. U.S. News’ No. 1 for their 2016 ranking, Princeton University, comes in the top slot in writing, but falls to 15th for OkCupid’s attractiveness list. Brown University, ranked 14th by U.S. News, rises to first place for partying, third

The sex drive ranking is based on data “retrieved from OkCupid questions within the subject matter of sexual activity,” the website said. “Higher ranks mean more sexual desire and claimed activity.” Attractiveness was determined by “the number of ‘likes’ and ‘passes’ a user receives in OkCupid’s Quickmatch,” and the partying rank is culled from responses to personality quiz questions about social activities, alcohol and drug use. OkCupid found some other interesting items about the students at these schools: 72 percent of Brown students would have sex on the first date, compared to 64 percent of University of Chicago who would be

willing to do the same. Further insights on Brown found they are the most liberal -- with four-out-offive students identifying as left-wing for their politics -- and they had some of the “highest quality messages” with an average of 236 words written at a 7th grade reading level, OkCupid said. And more than two-thirds of Washington University of St. Louis students have higher than average selfconfidence. Intelligent Machines: What does Facebook want with Artificial Intelligence? El Sol de Ohio Special Report

These days study into artificial intelligence research is no longer the preserve of universities - the big technology firms are also keen to get involved. Google, Facebook and others are busy opening AI labs and poaching some of the most talented university professors to head them up. Prof Yann LeCun is a hugely influential force in the field of Deep Learning and is now director of AI research at Facebook. He spoke to the BBC about what the social network is doing with the technology and why he thinks Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking are wrong in their predictions about AI destroying humanity and here are his thoughts. It is the ability of a machine to do things that we

deem intelligent behaviour for people or animals. Increasingly it has become the ability for machines to learn by themselves and improve their own performance.

The machines that we have at the moment are very primitive in a way. Some of them, to some extent, emulate the basic principles of how the brain works - they are not at all

a carbon copy of brain circuits but they have a little bit of the same flavour. Facebook’s mission is to connect people with each other and increasingly that means facilitating commu-

nication between people but also connecting them with the digital world in their daily lives. One of the dreams we have had for years is some sort of intelligent agent

that seems clever enough to do a lot of tasks, including organising meetings with friends and accessing information that might take you an hour or two on Google. If we have machines with a little bit of common sense, know a little bit about how the world works and which know you and your interests it could be very useful to you. That’s the long-term goal. In the meantime we can use those technologies to do a lot of useful things - selecting content that might be interesting to them, filtering objectionable content, translating an image into text for the visually impaired, things of that type. Tener algunos kilos de más no tiene por qué afectar a nuestras relaciones sexuales. Más bien lo contrario, según afirma un reciente estudio de la Universidad de Erciyes en Kayseri (Turquía) que afirma que la grasa abdominal puede aportar una serie de beneficios a nivel sexual. Para su experimento, los investigadores contaron con 200 hombres adultos sanos a los que realizaron un seguimiento de sus relaciones sexuales durante aproximadamente año y medio. Antes de empezar, analizaron el índice de masa corporal (IMC) de los voluntarios.

Los resultados del estudio revelaron que los hombres con un IMC más alto tenían relaciones sexuales más duraderas que aquellos que tenían un IMC más bajo y pesaban menos. La media de relaciones sexuales fue de unos 5 minutos. Otra de las conclusiones extraídas de la investigación aclaraba con un ejemplo que si un hombre tenía 100 relaciones sexuales al año, el que tuviera la barrigamás voluminosa tendría un total de 8 horas más de sexo que uno que tuviera el abdomen firme y marcado. El motivo de esta diferencia entre personas con o sin abdomen firme es puramente biológica: la

grasa abdominal provoca la segregación extra de una hormona llamada extradiol que permite que el orgasmo masculino se retrase un poco más en las relaciones sexuales. A más producción de esta hormona, más duradera será la sesión de sexo antes de llegar al clímax. Fuente: Muy Interesante

Un hombre de Florida fue acusado de asesinar a su novia luego de que durante la relación sexual le llamó por el nombre de su ex pareja, informó la policía. Fidel López, de 34 años, contó a la policía que se convirtió en “un monstruo” cuando María Nemeth de origen peruano y de 21 años, le llamó con el

nombre de su ex marido en dos ocasiones. López comenzó a romper las cosas del apartamento que acababan de rentar un mes antes; después tomó a Nemeth que yacía intoxicada y la asesinó insertando en su cuerpo una botella de cerveza, unas pinzas para risar pelo y sus puños. La policía llegó al apartamento la madrugada del pasado domingo y encon-

tró el cadáver de la mujer en el piso del baño junto a un charco de sangre, con restos de tejidos en el piso. El sospechoso dijo que vio a su novia vomitando en el baño y con dificultades para respirar, por lo que llamó al número de emergencia 911. El hombre fue presentado ante una corte de Sunrise, Florida y acusado de asesinato.
