Caribe Scarf

Beginner

INSTRUCTIONS [With two strands from each skein to make it chunkier.] 1440 ch. Use a stitch marker every 120 ch. At the end you should have 12 markers (that’s 1440 ch). Fasten off.

MATERIALS • 9 mm hook. • Chunky yarn (Katia’s New Nepal , color 201, 100 g/ 3 oz, 100 m/109 y = 2 skeins)

Organize the scarf so it goes around in loops (like a necklace). Do it carefully so the strands don’t overlay. You can put it over your legs like this, so it’s easier:

• Stitch markers • Yarn needle • Measuring tape • ABBREVIATIONS ch= ch(s)

Finally, to fasten it you can tie the yarn and go around tightening it. This part can be as wide as you like.

Pattern by El taller de Aracne.

Weave in with the yarn needle and it’s ready!
