2. Remove outside rearview mirror nut access hole plug.

3. Remove outside rearview mirror nut, Fig. 22.

4. Disconnect electrical connector.

5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque exterior rearview mirror nuts to 16 ft. lbs.

Refer to Fig. 23 when performing the following procedures.

1. Remove front floor console trim plate assembly and disconnect electrical connections.

2. Remove lefthand and righthand front floor console extension panel.

3. Pull back carpet and insulator to access fasteners from floor console.

4. Remove front floor console and disconnect electrical connections.

5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque front floor console bolts to 33 ft. lbs.

Disable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.

Adjust driver seat to gain access to bolts and remove.

Disconnect electrical connectors.

With aid of an assistant, remove front seat.

Remove front floor console cup holder trim plate.

Remove front floor console bolts.

Remove front floor console retainer bolts.

Transfer components as required.
