Overview Two Way Wireless Technology Each wireless device on the Enforcer system, including movement detectors, is both a transmitter and a receiver. The wireless technology used on the Enforcer system holds a significant advantage over one way and the majority of two way wireless products currently available on the market: 1) All wireless devices know when the system is armed and disarmed. Armed: All movement detectors are permanently awake, making the protection much more secure.
Disarmed: The detection component of the movement detectors is disabled, preserving battery power. However, the detectors still communicate with the control panel via low power supervision messages.
Alarm Condition: During an alarm condition each activation of the movement detectors (PIR and DT) is transmitted to the ARC and user, as well as registering in the memory log. This is only possible because detectors in the Enforcer system never sleep following activation.
2) The Enforcer two way wireless system allows the implementation of the double knock feature for every wireless movement detector (PIR and DT). This feature is normally found on wired systems and is used to reduce false alarms on difficult installations. Signal Strength Indicator (SSI) One of the key advantages of implementing SSI technology is to allow the installer to view the wireless transmission signal strength on both the control panel and wireless devices in real time. Instant Two Way Device Control (ITDC) The ITDC technology enables instant wake up and instant sleep of each device on the system, allowing continuous communication between the control panel and wireless devices whilst preserving battery power. This technology not only provides installers with total control of each device, but also gives users peace of mind that they have a reliable and secure wireless system. Pyronix High Security Wireless Protocol Encryption Pyronix has developed a 128 bit Two Way Wireless Encryption Protocol to ensure that the communication between all Enforcer wireless system components is protected to a maximum security level. Programmable Wireless Supervision Time Intelligent Wireless Jamming Detection

UDL Server Module
It is also possible to remotely program and maintain the IP systems via the UDL server, which is maintained by Pyronix. This is offered as a free service to installers at: www.alarmIP.net.
Polling and Alarm Server Module
The frequency with which the health of the IP network is checked is programmable, starting from 10 sec.
Automation Server Module
This module is used to enable the connection of the PIP server to 3rd party monitoring software. The automation protocols used by the PIP server are MLR2, SK Extended, Ademco 685 and MX MON.
Management Software Module
The Pyronix IP Server software is protected by an USB dongle key The Pyronix IP Server can be downloaded from the following link: www.pyronix.com/download-pip.php -14-
Overview It is possible to connect up to 3,000 PCX control panels or IP COMs to one Pyronix IP Server. To achieve the maximum number of IP panels connected to one PIP server the polling and sign up server modules should be installed on separate server computers equipped with plenty of RAM memory. Each server module can have more than four IP addresses for connection to the outside world: two for the main server and two for the back up server. An important factor of this system is that it manages both LAN and GPRS channels. It is possible to program within one server up to 16 different GPRS service providers so that the monitoring station is not forced to use only one GPRS provider. However, for a simple start up system all Pyronix IP Server modules can also be installed on a single basic PC (laptop) under one IP address only. Product Overview Features
Description
15m Volumetric Detector
15m coverage at 90o. Ideal for protection of rooms, offices etc.
18m Vertical Curtain Detector
18m vertical curtain coverage. Ideal for protection of large window areas.
30m Long Range Detector
30m long range coverage. Ideal for long narrow areas or corridors.
Anti-Masking Detection
Used in environments where there may be a significant risk of masking of the PIR and/or MW technologies. An area immediately in front of the KX15DTAM is monitored continuously. Any intrusion into this quiet area activates the antimasking process.
Independent Mask Relay
In the event of one of the detection technologies being masked, the KX15DTAM will go into a mask fault condition. The Mask and Alarm relay will open. This feature allows the use of the detector on Grade 3 systems such as PCX Series where only one input is required to detect Alarm/Tamper/Mask and Fault condition. It is also possible to program the detector so that the Mask relay opens only during the masking condition. In this case the Mask relay should be connected to a separate input on the control panel.
Selectable EOL Resistors
The selectable EOL resistors on the KX for Alarm are 6K8, 5K6, 4K7, 2K2, 1K and for Tamper: 5K6, 4K7, 2K2, 1K cater for most panels on the market.
AND/OR Technology
The AND mode operates as a standard dual technology detector, the OR mode will switch to microwave detection in environments where there is a risk of PIR detection being blocked.
Blue Wave Technology (BWT)
This technology enhances the detector’s immunity to infra-red noise in the environment. BWT comprises of 2 key components: 1). The 3D optics system enables perfect focusing of the infra-red signal onto the pyro-electric sensor. 2). Powerful software embedded into a microprocessor is used to process the received information. The result of this combination is lower infra-red signal noise amplification and therefore better immunity.
Auto Sensitivity Feature
Depending on the environment condition, the detector will automatically adjust the sensitivity.
Digital Temperature Compensation
When the product is used in a hot environment this technology digitally adjusts the detector’s sensitivity allowing it to maintain its range even when the background room temperature is almost equal to the external body temperature of 37ºC
KX15DT KX15DTAM
Active Self Test
If there is no activation after a 5 hour period it will actually self test both the PIR and microwave.
Triple LED Indication
Microwave - orange. PIR - green. Alarm - blue. Mask - blue flashing (KX15DTAM).
Microwave Frequencies
3 different frequency bands to avoid interference between detectors’ are installed in the same room.
Sealed Optics
Protects from possible infestation from insects, shields air movement in front of the pyro-electric sensor and protects against adverse reflections from inside the detector housing.
ABS Plastics
3mm polished finish which reduces electrostatic interference on the PIR sensor.
