Married for: 6 1/2 years Bobby and Allison Sorenson are two new faces you'll see around the neighborhood. They and their daughter Stella—who turns 3 this month—recently moved to the area from Pompano Beach. And they found no more family-friendly neighborhood than ours. “Moving to a new city, we knew that this was important to us to be plugged in,” says Allison. The family is looking forward to making friends and planting new roots here in Lake Cove Pointe.
The Sorensons came to Winter Garden for Bobby’s new job as a Project Manager at Sorenson Construction. Allison works as a graphic designer and as a stay-athome mama. As for how to make them feel welcome, the family says just don’t be shy. They love entertaining at home, playing card games, and cheering on their favorite sports teams—the Gators, Tampa Bay Rays, and the Bolts, if that makes a friend or an enemy of you.
