“Your nerves have finally subsided, you've successfully gotten through your ceremony, greeted all of your guests, you're not so concerned if your dress is getting dirty at the hemline anymore and the party is about to rev up. Sunset is always the best time of the day, and it’s not just because you got married in a coastal state where the views are outof-this-world. Sunset also means you are likely at your most relaxed moment of the day. This is where I find the most natural and happiest images unfold, all with that golden sky overhead.”

“You've gathered all of your best girlfriends in one place for the biggest day of your life. Once you are in your wedding dress, it's go time and the day will start flying by! Capturing those few moments of anticipation and excitement prior with just your girls is a memory you will love to look back on!”

Move Mountains Co.’s talented team captures magical wedding day moments.

by MOVE MOUNTAINS CO.

When planning your wedding, there are hundreds of sweet moments that can’t be planned but don’t go unnoticed. It’s seen in the joyful tear swept away at the altar, it’s heard when the groom receives a handwritten letter from his bride to be, it’s felt when the bride and groom share a kiss when no one’s looking. Words can’t describe it, but it’s these intimate moments that the photography and videography team at Move Mountains Co. (movemountains.co) live to capture.

“For us, it’s all about building relationships with our couples,” says Sean Brown, owner of the Rhode Island-based photography and videography company. “We want to know them and ultimately help make their big day the best day ever. We’re not just telling any story but we’re telling their story. Their big day should be epic, cinematic, and true to their journey.” Relationship building is a resounding theme with the company: both with their team members and with their clients. “Many of our couples have never been professionally photographed before, so we want to help them feel relaxed and have some fun.” Echoing Brown, studio manager Nicole Eng says, “One of my favorite reviews that we’ve ever received came from a couple who shared that by the end of the day, working with with us felt like they were working with their friends. That’s what we strive for!”

Move Mountains Co.’s photojournalistic style results in natural, candid photos that effortlessly detail each couple’s love story. When we think about Move Mountains Co. we can’t help but think of the word “craftsmanship.” Their attention to detail, color and storytelling is unparalleled. “We like to describe our work as natural and organic,” says Brown, “Our tagline is ‘Love is the greatest adventure.’ Our hope is that our work shows exactly that.”

Backed by a team of young, talented creatives, this local boutique offers the best of both worlds in photography and videography. Brown notes that having a photo and video team makes for a smoother day and a more cohesive end product. “The photos and video match up both in color and quality,” Brown says. “It’s nice having a team that has worked together before, too.” It’s clear that his multi-faceted team’s togetherness and ability to work harmoniously helps set them apart from other businesses. “Whether we’re on-site at a wedding or editing our work, we all work in tandem. We’re all friends and respect one another and I think that adds to the element of the day.”

Despite having a modestly sized team, Move Mountains’ scope of work is akin to what most clients can expect from a larger photography firm. “People are usually surprised to hear that our team is small,” says Brown. In addition to offering photography and videography services, the team plans and edits all of their work in-house using the best editing technology and the team’s creativity. “It’s a very collaborative process, the more eyes that are on a photo album or a highlight film, the better,” says Brown. “If something is not up to our standards, it goes right back to the editor.”

Beyond their photography and videography services, couples can also taking advantage of the company’s Luxe Booth, an open-air photo booth with high-resolution images and unique props and backdrops. Whatever service couples seek from Move Mountains Co., they can rest assured that their love story will shine through the photos and video captured by the team.
