........sectional chronicle of the thousands of JPEGs, TIFFs, ........take up 30 gigabytes of space on my office hard........abbreviated but not random. On the whole we chose ........textural tapestry of a process. Rather than opting for ........those that allude to a particular moment in time; a ........seen in construction. Even the few formal drawings ........in the process of generating construction documents. ........on the Berty house, we had all learned to speak ........orthogonal in plan, spatial rather than formal with a ........for interrupted movement, these forms yielded pocket ........surprising sense of calm and reverence. Within them ........of a rigorously geometric existing house, our addition ........not linear; nor does it end with a crisp conclusion. ........jumps across phases, time and ideas. In fact, in the ........that this project may have started long ago in Ithaca, ........fluidity of it into a discursive framework or to try to ........the sketches from that period as an addendum, with a ........you see is the result of a collaboration between many ........Eve and Michel’s steadfast love of art and architecture ........love. ........ .......

ccccc In 1990 while enrolled at the Cornell School....... ingredients, buried in the sheer mass of Architecture,....... wasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t pedantic even though it was conducted....... formality of it was a ruse. More practically, I sought to....... be able to recreate it at will wherever I chose to live........ became personal as it crossed out of Architecture....... of us the sense and non-sense of a house. ccccc....... to distill matter and memory to their nearly pure state....... into abstraction. ccccc At the end, they did. And....... pocket all these years. ccccc Had I succeeded in....... like fairy dust would magically transform any place....... obviousness of anywhere being nowhere eluded me....... way out of the labyrinth by claiming the self-evident....... spatial expression, I described a smaller and smaller,....... carried like the tools of a medieval travelling cobbler....... ccccc This was my Architecture of an instant....... urban or rural; and their cross projections, creating....... and a refuge for memory. ccccc In the intervening....... shown in the preceding pages, found its way back to....... I had ever left it. Made from nested projections and....... paper-like, as you move and see yourself cross its....... and earth and eventually claims that Architecture,.......
.......of Architecture, I set out to extract the subtle and core .......that constitute our perceptions of home. My goal ........under the auspices of a Master’s thesis project. The ........capture and hold the very essence of a home, only to ........ccccc Very quickly, and undoubtedly, the journey .......and into the myriad dimensions that make for each ........The exegesis required an alchemist’s approach. I had ........-‘nearly’ because anymore and they would only vanish .......I was left with a residue that has settled in my coat .......capturing that essential ingredient, that potion that .......into some place, I would be free to be anywhere. The ........at the time and I convinced myself that I had found a ........truth that home is where the heart is. ccccc As a ........eventually a portable habitat. It would be worn and ........or an astronaut in space -that close to the skin. ........home: projections of images within dark space, ........intersecting horizontal pyramids of domestic imagery ........years, I have built many houses. But this last one, .......the labyrinth -casting a Borgesian doubt over whether .......intersecting triangulated spaces, it folds and unfolds, .......interstices and thresholds. It is made of steel and glass .......built, has the power to extinguish time.
