Chancellor rejects interference from his Spanish counterpart and called to abide by international law

Caracas, January 18- AVN.- The Chancellor of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez rejected the claims of her acting counterpart Spain, Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, this Monday, and urged him to abide to the international public laws. Through her Twitter account, Rodriguez said: “The Spanish Foreign Minister meddles in the affairs of Venezuela showing historical ignorance and exercising imperial guardianship of his former colonies”. "It corresponds to you, the Foreign Minister, Mr. Garcia-Margallo to hold your action to the International Public Law, before even thinking of giving orders here”, he said. The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that Garcia-Margallo “has nothing to say or order in our country, heir of Simon Bolivar”. Rodriguez said that her Spanish counterpart is misinformed of the Venezuelan reality and urged him to be more concerned now that the Iberian Government, in which a governance crisis is dominant because of the lack of agreements that will permit the election of a new President The Spanish Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Garcia-Margallo, said this Monday that he will raise to the Council of Foreign Affairs of the EU the concern of the Government headed by Mariano Rajoy, regarding the situation of Venezuela.
