President Maduro will address the National Assembly with his annual message, this Friday

Caracas, January 15, 2016 - AVN.- President Nicolas Maduro will address the National Assembly with his annual message, this Friday, regarding his mandate corresponding to the year 2015, as required by Article 237 of the Constitution, reported this Thursday the spokesman of the Homeland Caucus (Bancada de la Patria) , Hector Rodriguez. In the transmission of Venezolana de Television, realized outside the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas, Rodriguez urged the people to accompany the Head of State during this activity, scheduled for the afternoon. "We invite all the people of Venezuela to accompany our President in this message and, beyond this message, to accompany the President in this new stage of the Revolution. A step that calls us to the production, which calls us to efficient policy, which calls us to work, each and every Venezuelan who loves this country”, said the MP. Rodriguez said the protocol team of the Venezuelan Parliament will be responsible in arranging the final details for the presentation of this annual report. The Article 237, of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela states: “Within the first 10 days following the installation of the National Assembly, in regular session, the President of the Republic, shall address personally, every year, the Assembly, delivering a message that will cover the political, economic, social and administrative aspects of his/her administration during the previous year”.
