Venezuela begins a new era with a productive economic model
Caracas, January 9, 2016 (MPPRE).- During the Council of Vice-presidents from the Lounge Sun of Peru of Miraflores Palace, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, said that the productive economic model would be the only solution to face and overcome the economic crisis affecting the world. The Council was headed by the Head of State and also accompanied by Executive Vice President, Aristobulo Isturiz, the Vice-president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Delcy Rodriguez Gomez, the Vice-president of Financial Affairs, Luis Salas, the Vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menendez, the Vice-president of Social Development and Missions, Jorge Arreaza and the Vice-president of Territorial Development, Isis Ochoa. Maduro declared the beginning of a new stage of the Revolution regarding fisheries and agriculture to enhance the country’s production in this area and ensure the right to this alimentation for all people. For this reason, he installed the new ministries of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Agricultural Production and Land and Urban Agriculture, also noting that in 2016 “Venezuela will begin a new stage, away from the path of neoliberalism and privatisation and towards to a new productive, economic model”. He stated that the methodology of the new ministerial cabinet, that was announce last Thursday, January 7, will be marked by its communication with citizens, meeting the growing needs of the population and moving from an oil rentier model towards a social-productive one, “Our path is the productive, fair path. From a new economy generating domestic wealth towards socialism”, he said. During the Council, the Communication Staff was also inaugurated, in order to build a new communications policy.
“The Communication Staff was inaugurated today, with a group of guests, invited, intellectuals and experts, building a new communications policy that will keep the people well informed. We were getting the report right now, in order to guide, comment and make decisions in order to ensure that people will stay well informed�, said the President from the Miraflores Palace.
