EMBODY DENIM was created in 2006 when Natalie Wakeling Australia's most successful plus-size fashion model with ten years experience was introduced to a wide range of denim when she was in New York City, the jean range available in the USA was unbelievable it catered for everyone. Wakeling says, " I have worn my fair share of unflattering jeans and felt there was a definite gap in the Australian market when it came to buying beautiful jeans in the latest styles and colours that I didn't feel embarrassed to wear. I was tired of having to settle for unattractive plus-size jeans when I knew I could design something special that could make fashion starved women feel great."
