INTRODUCTION

This project comprises 12 exhibitions, different workshops, lectures, and at the close, a book. “The 33-piece Art Healing Chroma collection” is about engaging in creative behaviours that improve brain function as well as, mental and physical health. Its focus is both on patients, companions and the healthcare providers.

Because of this, NONE of the 33 artworks will be for sale during their 3-year tour of 12 different events.

Where will the exhibition be shown? Any locations in the field of mental care, clinics, and hospitals located in the EU, that can manage the transportation, installation, and safety of the “The 33-piece Art Healing Chroma collection”, if you want to have it at your location is welcome to request access to it under a basic agreement.

Energy flows in magnetism, color waves are guided by energy, then we can persived abouth overall health bringin a space of contemplation and for mindfullness helps to reflect, prevent and open the posibility of healing the synthoms and put attention to the complete body. The 33 works of art are in the size format 50x60 and 40x50 both framed and unframed. They metaphorically depict the wounds, scars, cuts, the strings that tie us to others, our surroundings, the frame of support or the lack thereof, life’s struggles and vulnerability, and the person that summits to healing process must be exposed to “the process”.

Based on color psycology, we also understand that colors, with their different wavelengths, frequencies, and energy levels of light (or electromagnetic radiation energy) influence our moods and health. Perceiving them in a space of contemplation through mindfulness can aid us in reflecting, preventing, and opening up to the possibility of healing our symptoms and pay attention to the possibility of a alternaty. The collection gives attention to the visible and invisible body, represented by colors as follows:

Red: Etheric Body

Orange: Emotional Body

Yellow: Mental Body

Green: Astral Body

Cyan: Etheric Temple

Royal blue: Celestial Body

Purple: Causal Body

This is based on Barbara Brennan’s work, which has identified seven layers of the human energy field. The first three layers are the most dense and easiest to perceive, they pertain to the physical plane. The higher layers are vibrating at higher frequencies and are more difficult to perceive.

In the collection we also find gold leaf, representing the divine possibilities, a spiritual connection, the care for ourselves as part of the divine energy and a higher power.

BIOGRAPHY

The “Art Healing Chroma” project will be kicked off by Keynote Speaker & Dutch Writer, Marjolein Smit (and whenever possible at the following events.)Through sharing her reflections, she gives a crucial overview that invites the public to open up to the possibilities of becoming aware of the mind-body connection, how we dealt with our childhood experiences, has shaped our brain, “programmed” how we respond to others, and our surroundings, and has built-in triggers that activate when similar occurrences happen.

We consciously and unconsciously live via this “program” blueprint. This coping blueprint can unknowingly cause mental and physical illness in a person. Recognizing your “program” and triggers can be a tremendous aid in dealing with traumas and illness. Marjolein calls this an ego-emancipation

8: Started writing at the advice of a doctor because she did not like talking to a social worker, appointed to the family because of her parent’s divorce.

16: Gets acquainted with spirituality. Learning that she creates the world around her and that the body follows the mind’s “instructions”. She stops writing because as she lives in the now it doesn’t make sense to write down what she had done in the past. She will not read about the past in the future because she is focused on being in the now.

20: Reaches enlightenment, loses her father, and studies acting at GCSE Bradford College in England for a year.

21: Gets into her first real relationship. Falls out of enlightenment and can’t find her way back because she has not written down the last directions on how to get there.

27: Gets accepted into the Amsterdam Theatre Academy.

28: Loses her mother. Points displaced anger at God (not meaning the man in the sky but the All energy) not understanding what she had done to create or deserve this.

32: Graduates from the Amsterdam Theatre Academy.

35: A cervix cancer diagnosis. She thinks: Do you want to look back at this and think gosh I was pathet-

ic? Or do you want to think back proudly, knowing you handled it like a boss? She chooses option two. Through her spiritual knowledge, she understands that one thing the uterus stands for is creativity. While getting better it kickstarts two journeys: A spiritual journey, to understand how she has created cervical cancer, and find her way back to enlightenment.

A screenwriting journey to build a creative career and hopefully stop any cancer from returning this way. Over eleven years she becomes a selftaught screenwriter, a blogger for Stage 32, interviews people like Zack Ward, and Paul Verhoeven, and tries to get her screenplays sold.

43: Gets certified in Reiki energy healing I and II.

45: Back problems make her steer away from her screenwriting journey, change jobs, and focus more on the spiritual journey, noticing more synchronicities, a flow developing in her life, and guidance from God.

46: Inspired by God she’s guided to stop her screenwriting, and blogging, to take her website down, and leave all social media platforms. She starts a movie, music, and book diet to stop “escaping” from the now (through the Ego) and to live “manually” and becoming present in the now. Becomes a keynote speaker for Emelly Velasco’s art exhibition “Art Healing Chroma”.

Now: Near enlightenment, working on a book called “Ego-emancipation”.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emelly Velasco is a Mexican-Dutch visual artist, writer, designer, and speaker with Central American roots. In 2009 she began her activities in brand and symbol design. In 2014 she entered the art world with her abstract work.

Based on the search for feminine aesthetics, her abstracted cosmovision of the healing soul and recognition of the astral, and universal principles like polarity and transmutation, she mixes techniques like acryl, oil, ink, charcoal, and her own blood (Exclusively in Red Astral serie).

“Mostly my work is about understanding polarities and my bipolarity, the femenine and masculine aspects of the being; but also tapping into how the creative energy and spirituality improves our overall health”.

Her work has been presented in Central America, Mexico, Italy, The Netherlands and the United States. Her most recents works:
