To complement your on board experience our dedicated activity manager and wellness coach will hold a variety of classes, including yoga, Pilates, and aqua aerobics.

Kayaking experience in Pinhão

Our hand-crafted EmeraldDISCOVERY excursions immerse you into the heart of each port of call, offering a unique insight into the wonderful destinations along the Danube, Rhine, Main, Moselle, Douro, and Rhône rivers.

During a visit to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava you’ll be welcomed into the home of a local family to hear about their daily life over coffee and cake. A truly insightful activity, allowing you to learn about their culture first-hand. Whilst in Portugal, you will have the opportunity to embark on a delightful kayaking experience, admiring the natural scenery that surrounds you. In France we welcome Top Chef finalist Fabien Morreale on board for an extra-special, once-in-a-lifetime highlight dinner. Fabien will prepare a delicious meal using fresh local ingredients, a true celebration of authentic Provençal cuisine. A visit to the ‘Garden of Europe’ Keukenhof Gardens is sure to delight as the vibrant multicoloured carpet of flowers stretches as far as the eye can see. A must-visit while in the Netherlands during springtime.

In Hanoi you’ll have the opportunity to delve deep into the life of the locals whilst enjoying lunch at KOTO (Know One Teach One), a unique restaurant set up to train and educate disadvantaged children. KOTO’s aim is to end the cycle of poverty by empowering and helping young people to forge a better future for themselves, and their communities.

Cruise the ethereal waters of Halong Bay on a private boat to discover it’s most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on quiet beaches, exploring caves, fishing villages, or kayaking. Lunch is served on board. On board Emerald Harmony, enjoy a traditional Lion Dance performance on the Sun Deck. Vibrant bursts of colour light up the evening sky as you raise a glass and toast new-found friends.

Visit the Oudong Monastery, where you’ll receive the rare privilege of a traditional Buddhist blessing from the temple’s resident monks.
