Mission Statement:

The Landing of Franklin is located in beautiful community of Franklin, Massachusetts, just 22 miles southwest of Boston. It is conveniently located near I-495, offering easy access to Boston, Worcester, and Providence, Rhode Island. It is a town steeped in history, as it was first settled in 1660. Named after Benjamin Franklin, it is a picturesque town of parks, state forests, and an old world charm. It has been named of the best towns to raise a family and to start a business. It has a vibrant commercial center and boasts many historical sites of interest, including the first public library in the United States, which houses some of the original books donated by Benjamin Franklin.

There are numerous health care facilities in the area, including MetroWest Physician Services, located just a half-mile down the street. And, of course, it is within easy distance of Boston, offering all the cultural and historical sights and events for people of all ages and interests.

As we get older, many of us naturally need a helping hand – perhaps someone to help us get ready for the day, help manage our medications or prepare special meals.

Sometimes that’s all we need to live safely on our own.

If you want to experience living at an Emeritus community before making a permanent move, or you’re being discharged from a hospital or nursing care facility and aren’t quite ready to go home, consider our short term stay program. You’ll receive the same services all residents enjoy – home-cooked meals, scheduled transportation, outstanding service and more. Taking advantage of our short term stay program is a great way to decide if our community suits your lifestyle and fits your needs!

Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Memories made for memories lost Our community offers an innovative program, called Join Their Journey®, for residents with Alzheimer’s or memory disorders. The premise of the program is simple: we create specially designed memory care neighborhoods that provide a personalized, familiar and secure setting tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Within this environment, our highly trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity.

To ensure we meet your needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called the wE Care® Resident Evaluation Program. This helps us accurately evaluate and monitor assisted living services for each resident. In addition, our Director of Resident Care will visit with you on a regular basis to personally discuss health-related issues and to monitor your progress.
