ARCHERS MARK

TAMTAM FILM

Founded by Mike Brett and Steve Jamison in 2008, Archer’s Mark is a full-service production company based in Shoreditch, East London. As a director-led company, Archer’s Mark is committed to making bold, ambitious films with strong authorial voices about striking subjects. Having built a strong reputation in the commercial industry, Archer’s Mark has now built a powerful in-house infrastructure, with full post-production and camera departments, along with a new development arm that commands a substantial annual budget. Driven by a craftsman’s passion for detail and a keen understanding of new digital technologies, the company is now gaining a strong reputation as a magnet for creative talent, whilst also pioneering innovative new models of production and distribution. Having become a creative home for gifted writers, directors and producers who believe deeply in their projects and their audiences, we do not believe that artistic integrity and commercial success are mutually exclusive. The company’s debut feature documentary NEXT GOAL WINS will be released theatrically in 2013, paving the way for a strong slate of feature-long drama and documentary projects.

Andrea Schütte and Dirk Decker first met during a training for production management in 2005. While commuting between Hamburg and Berlin during these weeks, they couldn’t stop talking about movies and filmmakers that inspired them–and their passion for the same films excited the idea of producing films together at one point in the future. Only a few months later they collaborated for the first time: They exec-‐produced MARS, a short feature by Marcus Richardt. After that, they followed different paths on their career track for a few years, never forgetting their initial idea of one day getting back together again. That day came in 2011 when, in addition to their respective engagements at X Filme and Riva Film, Andrea Schütte and Dirk Decker teamed up for good and started their label Tamtam Film, a platform to develop, finance and realize projects for and with young and exceptional filmmakers. Their first project under that label is RIVER (FLUSS), a short feature by Michael Venus, starring Sandra Hüller and Peter Becker, which received a nomination for the German Short Film Award in 2011. Their documentary short BEIGE by Sylvie Hohlbaum and GLOOMY SABBATH, a short feature by Amit Epstein currently in postproduction, followed. Furthermore the producers are currently developing the debut feature of Student-‐Oscar winner and Academy Award ® Nominee Max Zähle (RAJU). Due to their increasing production volume the producers decided to found Tamtam Film GmbH in April 2012.

Dirk Decker Raised in Kassel, Dirk Decker received a masters degree in Business Studies from Hamburg University. After three years in project management he turned his back on the somewhat dry engineering business to tell stories. He went to Paris in order to write – and returned to Hamburg six months later in order to make movies.Since 2005, Dirk Decker has been working as freelance producer in Hamburg, i.a. at Riva Film for DAS LEBEN IST NICHTS FÜR FEIGLINGE by André Erkau, LEG IHN UM by Jan Georg Schütte, GANZ NAH BEI DIR by Almut Getto (Max Ophüls Preis 2009, Audience Award), FASTEN A LA CARTE by Hans-‐Erich Viet, the Turkish coproduction VOICE OF MY FATHER by Orhan Eskiköy and Zeynel Dogan, the Israeli coproduction EYES WIDE OPEN by Haim Tabakman (Cannes Film Festival 2009, Uncertain regard) and the Norwegian coproduction UPPERDOG by Sara Johnsen. 2008 Dirk Decker joined the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE) programme, one of the leading project development and advanced training programmes for European producers. In 2010, Dirk Decker tutored the one-‐year writer’s programme at Filmschule Hamburg-‐Berlin. He is a member of the European Film Academy.

DUEMONETE Di Pietro Franco Barbano Emanuela Italy

Due Monete. It means “Two Coins”. One is for scriptwriting. One is for video production. We love to write and to produce contents for the audience. Some of them tells about our stories, other tells much about our directors’ experience. We believe a well written story could become many things: a short for cinema, an interactive experience, a web video, an internet site, a live event, a Facebook fan page. Because storytelling is the starting point for every audience engagement. That’s why we think about ourselves as Storytelling Advisors, ready to create new ideas for your audience, outstanding, based both on traditional and innovative medias. Don’t be surprised if we use words such as DocuMercial, or Interactive Short, or WebDoc. These are just neologism we create to make our mates understand how storytelling is effective for reaching people and new medias. On the other hand we know we are content creators, because we join our ability in storytelling with the most advanced technologies in video production and post production. We founded Due Monete in Turin, Italy, in 2007. Since then we create a lot of stories. Let check the

ANINGFILM

SACREBLEU

Radeljak Matija

Bellicaud Louise Dyens Ron

Croatia

France Aning Film has been established in early 2011 as a new part of a 20 year old family company until then involved in finance and legal consulting. Founder’s son, Matija Radeljak, previously involved in different productions as a freelancer shopping around for production companies, started the film department with confidence made after completing several projects. With his family company acting always as a co-producer on projects he produced or was author of, he moved his active projects to the new-old company. Aning Film’s first priority being clear from its name, the company policy is to focus on extending audience experience to all reachable formats and platforms, creating a strong basis for what today is known as cross-media (and we like to say that this will simply be called storytelling). We believe in strong production value and motivated authors working together on as diverse level as possible. We are planning to extend the company to Belgium in 2013, and further in the future, as our international network has grown and cultural diversity is what we found to be the biggest filmmaking motivator so far. Aning film’s mission is to develop and produce authorial audiovisual projects, dramatic narratives, whose core revolves around market value and author’s liberty working together in harmony.

Sacrebleu Productions began producing short films in 2001. Since then, more than fifty films have been produced and selected in over 1000 French and foreign festivals as prestigious as Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand… Sacrebleu Productions is interested in all genres of short films : live action and animation, fiction, documentary and experimental films. In 2010, Sacrebleu Productions was rewarded for its work by receiving the prestigious Procirep Award for Best Producer. This year also marked the Palme d’Or for best short film awarded to « Barking Island » by Serge Avedikian. In 2010, Sacrebleu Productions produced its first feature documentary, « Free Radicals, a history of experimental film » by Pip Chodorov and is currently working on two feature films projects, « Longway North » and « Sexperiences », and on an animated TV serie, « Casimilo and the legends of the new world » (39x13’). Besides Sacrebleu still goes on to develop and produce several short films : « Acoustic Kitty », « Sirenashow », « Beach Flags », « Cargo cult » and a collection of 11 short films from the « Sexperiences » project. In 2012, we produced an animated TV series (20x3’), « Faces from Places » by Bastien Dubois, in coproduction with ARTE. Sacrebleu Productions in figures : 1 Palme d’Or (2010), 2 Oscar nominations for animated short film (2005, 2011), 1 Silver Bear (Berlin, 2012), 1 qualification for the Cesar (2011), 1 Procirep prize for Best producer (2010), 1 Crystal d’Annecy (2012), 1 Lutin for best production (2006), 1 Lutin for best animation (2010); 102 TV presales
