Thoughts about “Setting (pre-meeting) So Paige and I were talking about my book, and she told me what she thought before she held it in her hands and then she told me what she thought after she opened the cover and in the first instance, she said she thought it was missing something (but maybe that was because she needed to hold it) and in the second instance, she said she felt like it had no soul – like it needed color, or texture, or an event to happen in the setting and I said I thought it needed tension or something to make you think thoughts other than waves and shells and dilapidation and sea dunes. Wanderings. Photos taken on a break wandering through the countryside from mountains to ocean, alone and looking around, full and alone.

Thoughts about “Setting (post-meeting) Loneliness and aloneness and differences. Filling out fullness to feel it. Strong first and last images. Maybe showing full wanderings and empty dilapidated houses with mountain backgrounds and church trash, dead road cats. Not as unfinished as thought. Lonely, not alone. Searching.
