WESTCOTT GALLERY
SU CAMPUS WESTCOTT AREA
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The existing space is located in the Westcott neighborhood, near to the Syracuse University campus. The design program was interested in using the space as a gallery and looking for design suggestions.
PROPOSED DESIGN
The new design uses technology to connect the site to the main intersection in the Westcott Neighborhood. The wall the wraps around the exterior also screens the existing materials, rather than demolishing and rebuilding.

Thespace will be exciting and dynamic with projections and images from artists in the Syracuse University community as well as artists in the Westcott Community.
CONCERT
This design shows how the space can be flexible enough to allow for multiple forms of art to be displayed in the space. This version, opens up the entire space to create a stage for perfomances.
FASHION SHOW
This version of the space, uses stored light box seating to line a runway through the space for a fashion show that could be put on by students from Syracuse University’s fashion program.
