Welcome to the new Emily Burningham textile catalogue featuring our full collection of fabrics. This season sees the introduction of our latest designs, Lanterns and Peony. Lanterns is a contemporary pattern with distinct far Eastern overtones. Available in three colourways, the fresh ‘Natural’, the opulent ‘Carmine Red’ and the deep ‘Midnight Blue’ each provide a different experience. This design endeavours to introduce a lively atmosphere to a room through its rich colours, glowing lanterns, dancing butterflies, all set amongst the leaves of the fig tree. The fabric comes with a high quality smooth finish and is suitable for both light upholstery and soft furnishings. Peony, a long-time favourite flower of the English garden, was a natural addition to the Emily Burningham range of floral patterns. A flowing design, with hints of Art Nouveau and printed on a Linen Union, it is a wonderfully versatile fabric that will sit comfortably in any interiors setting. Additionally, we are very pleased to be working with Marston & Langinger. A company globally renowned for superior garden rooms, Marston & Langinger also produces an extensive range of paints with uncompromising attention given to pigment intensity, surface finishes and durability. Terms & Conditions Availability

Faulty Goods

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will notify you with an option of waiting for the product to become available or replacing the product with an alternative design.

Fabrics should be carefully inspected prior to cutting. Whilst every effort is made to inspect each order, errors can be made and damage or creasing may occur in transit. Therefore it is essential that no length be cut until you are satisfied with the fabric in all respects. Any claim must be put in writing within 7 days of receipt of the fabric. The nature of natural fibres such as cotton and linen are such that a certain number of slight imperfections can and will occasionally occur. Examples include slight slubs, nubs, and weave variations. Such imperfections are considered a normal part of the weave, and can affect printing processes. They should not be seen as unusual.

Fabric Care Dry cleaning is recommended for all our fabrics unless otherwise stated. A residual shrinkage/stretch of 2% should be allowed in making loose covers and curtains.

Due to the nature of fabrics supplied it is not always possible to obtain an exact colour match. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that colours correspond to our samples, slight variations may occur.

Swatches We recommend that you order a swatch before buying to check the colour, scale and suitability of a fabric. We are happy to supply up to 4 swatches free of charge. To order swatches please contact us by email at info@emilyburningham.com or call +44 (0)207 431 0361.

Minimum Order Quantities The minimum order quantity for fabric is 1 linear metre per order.

Please allow up to 10 days for UK mainland delivery. We will notify you if, due to circumstances beyond our control, delivery will be longer than this. A Next Day courier service is available on request, subject to an additional charge. Whilst we endeavour to deliver customer orders according to dates requested, Emily Burningham London cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our manufacturers. Returns Returns will not be accepted without prior agreement. A 20% handling fee, plus any carriage costs, will be deducted from the credit. Emily Burningham London will not accept returns if: Invoices are dated over 14 days, the fabric has been cut, order is 5 metres or less.

Treatments Our fabrics are sold without any fire retardant treatment. Fire retardant treatment may be required for fabric used in domestic upholstery or in commercial premises. No liability will be accepted for changes in appearance, performance, or defects in any of our fabrics if they are treated after purchase by spraying or processing of any kind, including flame proofing or the application of stain repelling treatments.

Confirmations & Cancellations All orders must be confirmed in writing. In the event of an order cancellation no charge will be made if the fabric has not been cut; otherwise a 20% handling charge will be made. All cancellations must be made in writing.

Deliveries to Third Parties Where deliveries are made to third parties (curtain makers, upholsterers etc) on the instructions of the customer, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct material is received. We cannot accept claims after the fabric has been cut. Also, no claims will be accepted in respect of any costs of making up.

Liability All goods are supplied by us on condition that our liability for any fault or defect in the quality, condition, description or fitness for any purpose, is limited in amount to a sum not exceeding the purchase price of the particular goods. In no circumstances whatsoever shall the company be liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Title Title to, and ownership of the relevant goods remains the absolute and unencumbered property of Emily Burningham London until full payment is received.
