AT A GLANCE •
Campers check in any time after 2 pm on Saturday, September 3
•
You will be directed to a parking spot, and then will walk with your bags to an assigned cabin.
•
We’ve got tons of fun activities available including tennis, hiking, rock climbing, archery, bonfires, and a movie night - not to mention a private lake for boating and swimming.
•
Check the Field Office for updated daily schedules, activity sign-ups, snacks, water & provisions.
•
If it rains or you need some shade, the Dance Pavilion is a large space with a roof, tables & chairs, music and ping pong.
•
All five meals will be vegetarian and served at the lodge.
•
The Ceremony is on Sunday at 5:30 PM, followed by a reception. Be prepared for at least a 15 minute uphill hike to the ceremony. Heels are strongly discouraged for the ceremony but may be left at the lodge for the reception.
•
All guests must leave camp by 11 AM on Monday, September 5th.

We have two golf carts available to transport any guests disinclined to walking.

GETTING HERE by car
by plane
From New York City (4 hr): Take I-87 N to Diamond Point Rd in Lake George. Take exit 23 from I-87 N. Take U.S. 9 N 7.6 miles to Forest Lake Rd. Follow to Forest Lake Camp.
Option 1: Fly into New York City. Rent a car & drive 4 hours north to Forest Lake Camp, following directions on this page.
From Boston (4 hr): Take I-90 W and I-87 N to Diamond Point Rd in Lake George. Take exit 23 from I-87 N. Take U.S. 9 N 7.6 miles to Forest Lake Rd. Follow to Forest Lake Camp.
Option 2: Fly to Albany Intl. Airport, NY (ALB). Rent a car & drive 1 hour north to Forest Lake Camp, following directions on this page.

Meals will be served buffet style with vegan and gluten free options available. Ask the chef if you have any dietary restrictions.

hiking trails Big Rocks Hike | 2-3 hours. Follow signs beyond fire pit. Lookout Loop | 30 minutes. Follow trail past ceremony spot. Gould Pond | 1-2 hours. Follow signs past lodge. Main St. Trailhead | Many easy options. Enter at far edge of horse pasture. Connect to bike trail to loop towards camp. Lake Loop | 1-2 hours. Enter behind volleyball court.
CAMP RULES •
No alcohol at the lake, its a liability issue.
•
Please wear life jackets on boats and paddleboards.
•
No smoking anywhere at camp.
•
No driving except on marked roads.
•
No pets except by special exception from the camp.
•
Please do not light fires in the fireplaces in your cabins.
•
All guests must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
HELPFUL HINTS •
Camp staff members Carlos, Carolyn and Brenda are available to help with anything you need including emergencies.
•
Let camp staff know in advance if you’ll need a lift to the ceremony or the lake. We have two golf carts available, don’t be shy!
•
Don’t count on cell service, except maybe at the lookout loop. Wifi is available at the Lodge; the password is candlelight.
•
Snacks, sunscreen and bug spray will be available all weekend at the Field Office, as well as activity sign ups, water bottle refills, etc.
•
We recommend signing up for activities at the field office, but you can also just show up and we’ll find a spot for you.
•
Use the polaroids! We’ll pin up your shots at the Field Office.
•
Head to the Dance Pavilion after both dinners for bonfires, smores, music and ping pong. This is also a good rain hangout.
•
It gets very dark at camp. If you forgot a flashlight, pick up a lantern and carry it with you - just please don’t leave it at your cabin.
•
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to walk up the trail to Sunday’s ceremony - we’ll start at 5:30 PM sharp.
•
We do not want any gifts. Feel free to contribute more than the $150 suggested contribution towards lodging and meals or donate to any of the organizations listed on our website.
PAY FOR YOUR STAY $150 suggested for overnight guests We’re not requiring payments, but we ask anyone using the camp outside of the ceremony and reception to consider contributing towards the cost of the long weekend. As a reminder, we’re not asking for gifts. Any additional contributions will help fund our honeymoon plan, road tripping through Turkey and Jordan! Camp staff can also accept cash or checks upon arrival.
