Made to Order

There are nearly 22 million blind and visually impaired individuals in the United States. The idea behind this subscription based business is to create an app in which colors and graphics are geared for the visually impaired user, meanwhile a voice animation feature enables the blind user to have the restaurant menu read to them. The business is called Made to Order, and is focused on ensuring accessibility through technology for the visually impaired and blind, while educating the public on the blind and visually impaired community. Smalbany

Based in Albany, New York, this is an arcade bar ready for fun. The branding colors chosen for this project are shared with the University of Albany’s colors. The logo design includes the signature Albany skyline, with a space themed typeface. The menu is themed after the classic game of pac man, along with all the menu items. Branding, Typography

HOME

HOME, stands for Helping Opportunities Meet Entrepreneurs. The logo includes the acronym of HOME but portrays a lock on the door, and how by entering the program only the homeless themselves can unlock it. The website includes resources for the homeless, while the book provides an accurate recording of the stories of the people in St. Augustine. These stories are included on the book marks, which are used for advertising for the book. The proceeds of the book will be going into funding the organization. Violet Queen

Blue Sky Farms is a potato farm located in Hastings, Florida. While they’ve been successful in marketing potatoes in the past they were struggling with creating the market demand for their specialty sweet potato, the Violet Queen. They wanted to create a character for her and a social media campaign to give her a personality, and show how essential of an ingredient she is for other meals. Sea Change

Is an initiative to get signs that display the nearest trash bin locations on beaches. While the logo itself is simple, I wanted to create a character that could be used on infographics to make them more visually stimulating, which lead to the creation of Harvey the octopus. Although not on the beach signs, he’s used in both the brochures and infographics created to engage and educate the public. Infographic Design, Interactive Design, Illustration

AgVenture Farm Tours

Agricultural tourism business aimed to introduce local agricultural sites to the tourism industry in St. Augustine. This business wanted a informational brochure, along with a logo which could easily be printed onto stickers as handouts, and tickets for tourists to recieve after purchase.
