Detail Description Seventeen-year-old Victoria Etsema never believed in myths or magic, until her bedroom mirror became a portal to Atlantis. On Victoria s first visit, the lost empire is deteriorating and deserted, and it marks her wrist with an ancient curse. A stranger with the same tattoo warns Victoria to stay in England, but she can’t resist the call of the lost empire. She keeps going back. When the mirror breaks, she is no longer content to research universities or argue with her family about her future. She runs away with her best friend, Sarah, to learn exactly what Atlantis wants with her.
