Background/Considerations
You are generally expected to interpret the brief to deliver innovative ideas. Usually the winning outcomes have gone above and beyond what the brief asks. These briefs are a lot more commercial and have big client names involved to run the briefs. •
Mandatory Requirements
All briefs must adhere to the deliverables required. These deliverables are non negotiable. All entries must also be entered by the final deadline. Any entries after the deadline cannot enter the competition. You can respond to as many briefs as you wish. You may also submit more than one response per brief. •

Individual Brief Brief – ‘Escape’ F estival Brand Identity (3- 4 Weeks) •
'Escape' an exciting new Festival based in the Somerset hills, is looking for a modern, new brand identity to help generate interest in the build up to their launch in late summer. To start with, the client is looking to have a new logo and set of icons they could use in the initial marketing materials for the F estival.
Background • The client is hoping to attract young professionals and families. T he F estival will also host a series of events around getting out into the outdoors and surrounding countryside. • The theme of the festival is adventure and the great outdoors. T his should be reflected in the logo and initial stages of the brand identity. •
They would like a set of 4 custom illustrated icons that represent: music, food, culture and camping. Take some time mood boarding, some of the most exciting, up and coming festival identities of this season. Pick out some key, eye-popping bold colours that you love and think could work well as a brand identity as a whole. Note, that the client is looking to have a strong, modern identity which stands out from the crowd.

Background/Considerations
company 'Flora & Fauna' is in the process of rebranding their core range to appeal to a younger audience. They would like the new designs to be feature modern, botanical illustrations to represent the raw, natural ingredients that they use within their product range.
The client would like to see an initial design which they would potentially roll out across a larger product range. They are looking for the designs to take inspiration from the Flora and Fauna of the Greek islands that the products are made from. .

Collaboration (External) Brief – Creating a Boutique ( 4 Weeks) Working collaboratively, create a range for your own boutique/shop. Create the shops identity and ethos, then produce the packaging, brand identity and advertisements for the shop. •

Create an interactive exhibition to promote more people to be creative, with a focus on supporting art as an entitlement in the education system.
Background Creativity, culture and the arts are being systematically removed from the education system, with dramatic falls in the number of pupils taking GCSEs in design, drama and other craft- related subjects, a new report has revealed. You should aim to develop research from a range of primary and secondary sources in order to fully explore the opportunities for informed creative development.
