THANKS!

You are officially booked in... That's photography ticked off your list! So what happens next? Well... keep in touch! I'd love to hear how your plans are going. You can find me on social media with the following details... I'd love to follow you back to keep in touch: Facebook ..... Emma B Photography Instagram ..... @emmabillsborough If you have booked a pre-wedding session then you can be having a think about where and when you'd like to do it. I tend to have plenty of free weekends in late Autumn/Winter/Early spring and weekday slots in Summer where we can make the most of the light evenings. If you haven't booked a pre-wedding session but would like to add one on, they are priced at ÂŁ150 ... just ask! Other than that, as long as no questions or changes pop up, I'll be in touch about one month before the wedding with a little questionnaire to gather details and an invoice for the final payment.

ON THE DAY

When will I arrive? If you have booked me to photograph you getting ready I tend to arrive a maximum of 2 hours before the ceremony starts, but it's totally up to you really... If you'd rather have less 'getting ready' shots I can just cover the finishing touches. As long as I can get to the ceremony with plenty of time and make sure I arrive well before you, that's totally fine. If you have booked a second shooter they can either meet your partner for getting ready photos or be at the ceremony venue to photograph guests arriving. How long will you stay in the evening? If you are doing a first dance I tend to stay a few songs after it... maybe half an hour or so, to make sure I get some good shots of your guests having fun on the dancefloor. We'd like a few 'group' family photos... how does this work? Well, I know you've probably chosen me because most of my images are natural and relaxed, but I do realise it's REALLY important to get those few formal family photos too. On the questionnaire I send out just before the wedding there will be space to list who you'd like in these photos. I'll bring the list with me on the day. Just bear in mind that each group takes around 3-5 minutes to gather and photograph.. so it's best to stick to around 6 groups to keep it quick and stress free.

Do we need to provide food for you? This isn't something I insist on as I'm aware you're already investing alot for your photography package. I'm quite happy to bring a picnic, or if you could let me know if bar snacks are available to purchase at your venue that would be great. If you do feel like you would like to cater for me/us it would be amazing and works best if I can eat at the same time as your guests so that I'm available to photograph in between, but no pressure at all. How much time do we need to allow for photographs on the day? The only time you will really need to set aside for photographs is for group photos as discussed above, and for your couple portraits. I would suggest leaving an extra half an hour for the portraits of the two of you.... we will probably only use 15 minutes or so but if we need to walk into a field or down the lane it's best to allow a little extra. Other than that I try to work in a totally natural way, capturing things as they happen, so won't need extra time. Tips for getting the photos you LOVE Obviously the best thing to do is relax on the day and just enjoy it all! But here are a few tips which, if you feel like you want to keep in mind, will help things to run efficiently and help me to create the lovely, clean and light images you love... - Whilst getting ready try to hang your dress/outfit somewhere with plenty of light with minimal clutter. If you'd like me to photograph details like your invitations, jewellery, shoes etc, then make sure these are close to hand too. - If you are having hair and make-up it's best to be positioned facing a window or somewhere with plenty of light. Your make-up artist will probably suggest this anyway. - Speak to your ceremony officiant and see if they have any particular rules regarding photography... just so there are no surprises on the day if you aren't allowed the photos you'd like. Also it might be worth checking to see if/where they allow confetti What happens after the wedding? A couple of days after the wedding I usually post a little preview up on my social media/blog... only if you're happy for me to do so obviously! But other than that you probably won't hear from me for a few weeks ... this is totally normal... I'll be busy working away on your images and will pop you an email with your gallery details within 6 weeks.

wedding albums If you have booked the 'All Inclusive' collection then you will have a beautiful album included in your package and I'll be in touch to discuss options. If you would like to see my album details and prices to add on to any other package just ask and I can email it over to you.
