陳筱葳 Hsiao-Wei Chen
BIO Hsiao-Wei Chen is an M.F.A. in Design and Technology candidate with a focus in costume design at The University of Texas at Austin. After receiving her B.A. in Theatre and Drama from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2015, she worked as a designer and assistant in the theatre, dance and film field in Taiwan. Chen is known for her flexible and various design style, with detailed observation and mature design skills, she excels at designing costume for complex characters. Several of her design credits include Proving Ground, Chi: The Method of Breathing, Mu Mu, Nightmare, A Midsummer Night's Dream: Theatre Is A Party! and Woyzeck. Chen is also a stage manager with a variety of productions from theatre to dance to her credit. 陳筱葳，2015 年畢業於國立臺灣大學戲劇學系，並於 2018 年赴德州大學奧斯丁分校戲 劇及舞蹈學院攻讀碩士學位，主修劇場服裝設計。自大學就讀期間，便開始參與近百個不同 規模的製作，曾為超過五十個戲劇、音樂劇、舞蹈以及影像作品設計服裝。其設計風格以靈 活多變見長，無論時代、東西方文化或是表演媒體差異，陳筱葳皆能以其細膩之觀察力及成 熟的創作能力，為演出角色設計最適合的衣著。除了設計演出服裝之外，也曾與國內多位服 裝設計師共事，擔任服裝設計助理、服裝管理及技術人員等。合作之設計師包含：翁孟晴、 李復真、李育昇、林俞伶等。 主要服裝設計作品包含：德州大學奧斯丁分校 Fall For Dance 舞展與紐約知名編舞家 Gregory Dolbashian 合作之《Proving Ground》(2018)、獨立製片《氣》( 入選 2018 年金馬影展 華語短片 )(2018)、第 11 屆台北藝穗節永真藝穗獎作品陳家聲工作室《阿北》(2018)、綠光劇 團改編自吳念真及小野文學作品的《寂寞 ‧ 光棍船》(2017)、曾獲邀 2015 年松菸文創園區原 創基地節及 2017 年大溪文藝季之作品《月老咖啡館》(2015)，以及曾獲布拉格劇場設計四年 展 (Prague Quadrennial) 臺灣學生館入圍初選之作品《沃伊采克》(2014)。
