“European Arts Company really takes the audience by storm. A surreal performance, witty and hilarious, full of energy, talent and creativity.” Culture Guide
Brought to the stage by highly acclaimed Blackeyed Theatre with soaring energy, break-neck comedy and breathtaking ensemble performances, Teechers is a modern classic with something vital to say about education for the ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’.
Fast-moving, inventive and highly entertaining, this is John Godber’s brilliant take on life at a modern comprehensive. Through their hilarious end-of-term play, three fifth-formers exuberantly sketch the new drama teacher’s progress through two terms of recalcitrant classes, cynical colleagues and obstructive caretakers.

A decade on from his retirement from the House of Commons and announcement that, after 50 years in Parliament, he was planning ‘to spend more time on politics’, the longest serving MP in the history of the Labour party is coming to Peterborough.
Etiquette of Grief is a playful and provocative show by Leeds-based artist Ellie Harrison. Ellie’s distinctive brand of solo performance blends interactive digital alter-egos, audience games and plenty of port in a step-by-step guide to coping with bereavement.
Forthright, outspoken and tireless in his campaigns Benn has been as good as his word and in the news ever since. Cabinet Minister, Minister of Technology, Secretary of State and Chairman of the Labour Party, Benn has an impressive political CV.
Song, sandwich-making, confessions and games make for an interactive 60 minute performance which engages its audience in questions about personal and public notions of grief whilst celebrating our freedom of expression, even in our darkest moments.
However, what renounces this man as more than your average politician are his numerous on stage appearances: in an award winning two man show with veteran folk singer Roy Bailer, appearance on the Left Field stage at Glastonbury, and alongside musician and campaigner Billy Bragg. You can even dance to DJ Charles Bailey’s remix of Benn’s impressive speeches.

Scottish/English trio Lau have taken the folk world by storm. Winners of Best Group at the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards (having won the title 3 times previously), Lau take traditional music into exciting new territory. Kris Drever’s mellow voice and guitar, Aidan O’Rourke’s masterful fiddle and Martin Green’s explosive accordion make for a wholly addictive sound. They are nothing if not innovative, bringing freshness of ideas and arrangements to tunes old and new. Their recent album, Race the Loser, has proved their most groundbreaking, and won them a following that transcends folk: they were recently guests on Later with Jools Holland. Lau are one of those bands that simply ooze pure class.
Let this mesmerising show take you through the world of musicals: their drama and their sheer joy. Thirty of the best loved tunes from Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Les Miserables, Grease, Lion King, West Side Story and many, many more are performed live on stage by some of the best singers and dancers working today. Proclaimed as ‘one of the top touring Musical Theatre productions to see’ by Musical Theatre News, Back to Broadway combines captivating performances with dazzling costumes, stunning lighting effects and an amazing New York setting as it brings the best of Broadway and London's West End together.
