From his first gig in 2008 he's collected an impressive array of awards and nominations, several TV and radio appearances - including 'Live at the Apollo' in Jan 2012 - and reviews that see a great future in comedy.

“Boothby Graffoe is a multi-talented, darkly hilarious, grade A British eccentric, who can twist your funny bone one minute, and break your heart the next. A musical comedy act who is more musical than most musicians, and funnier than most comedians” Stewart Lee “If I had to compare him to anyone, it would be Spike Milligan” Omid Djalili

Justin Moorhouse Tuesday 26 February at 7.45pm Tickets: £10 (£8 in advance) Dear potential ticket buyer. Why should you come and see my show? Well, firstly because it’ll be funny, and to be honest that’s the only reason. I’m not going to pretend my comedy can change the world. I'm not promising nudity or fire breathing. That can be arranged on request though. You might have seen me doing stand-up on your television, it'll be a lot like that, but more of it and in 3D.

Ailie and the Alien – by Moma Pearson

Tickets: £6 (£5 for students)

Featuring the Key Youth Theatre

A hilarious, moving, exhilarating, witty, tragic-comic showcase evening of monologues, new sketches and short plays.

Tickets: £8.50 (£7 concessions, £6 for KYT members)

In researching a biography of Captain Cook and the life of David Samwell (surgeon on Cook’s voyages), local author and director, Sandra Samwell, encountered the truth that the women who influenced both men are, largely, absent from accounts of their lives and achievements. They are ‘Invisible Women.’ Beginning with a monologue spoken by Cook’s wife, Elizabeth, and through sketches featuring some of the greatest women of the past three hundred years.

Wednesday 13 – Thursday 14 March at 7.45pm Ailie is a human and things have been going wrong for her for a while now. Finn is an alien who has crash landed on earth. When Finn takes a shine to Ailie things suddenly start going right in her life. But when Finn is summoned to return home everything begins to unravel. The Key Youth Theatre will be performing as part of National Theatre Connections – a nationwide celebration of new plays for young people. Each year, new plays are commissioned for and about young people by some of the best contemporary playwrights for one of the world’s largest celebrations of youth theatre.
