Sam Sweeney’s Fiddle: Made In The Great War TUES 16 SEPTEMBER • 7.30Pm • main House In 2009 Sam Sweeney, fiddle player with Bellowhead, bought a violin in Oxford. It had all the appearance of a new instrument but the label inside gave the date 1915 and the name Richard S Howard. Discovery of the history behind the fiddle has inspired Sam to create this multi-media performance.

The box office is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 30mins after the start of the performance. Box Office will close at 6pm when there is no evening performance. Sunday opening times are from an house before the start of a performance to 30mins after curtain up.
