A warm welcome Profile Welcome to Newcastle College. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering us as your training provider, as we always appreciate you have a choice. We have recently created a new division of the College specifically set up to specialise in offering a one-stop-shop for employers looking for training for themselves and staff. Companies benefit from a personalised service when they come to us for training. We understand the constraints employers are under and we have focused our service to align with employer needs. We understand that employers need flexibility; it is not always possible or desirable for staff to train off site, at set days and times, but yet again, sometimes it is - but we leave that decision to the employer. We allow the company to decide when, how and where staff are trained to suit the needs of the business in consultation with their dedicated Training Co-ordinator from the College. Our service is centred on three key areas: flexibility, responsiveness and choice. There are no restrictive start dates or times and a wide range of courses can be delivered on the company's own premises, at one of the College's local sites, via blended learning, distance learning, online study or on a one-to-one basis. In response to an increasingly demanding general public more aware of high standards, food issues, excellent service and healthy eating issues, a new section of this division has been specifically established to accommodate the ever changing training needs of the hospitality and catering sector within the region. This prospectus contains an overview of the courses we have identified as key areas of training for this sector. If you would like to discuss or view our full range, call me on 0191 284 9953.
