MS TCDC JARIDA #1 September 2014

Page 1

Jarida It is a great honor to start publishing again an internal MS TCDC newsletter, our Jarida! Dear fellows and colleagues

An internal magazine has the double function of sharing information from the institution to its employees, and also, from the employees to the rest of colleagues. And this is the sense we want to give

Jarida, we want it to be a

different meeting point for all of us, an informal channel to keep in touch. The intention of this short magazine is then sharing with all of you what we have been doing as an institution during the month, starting in August; narrating news of the interest of us all; remembering those whom we are saying farewell, presenting those we are welcoming, as well as being the platform you may choose to share with us all!

Tell us which were your best moments at MS TCDC, if it is possible to choose one?

Swahili with her we would need many, many fingers!

Truly I have something to say for those days I have been at MS TCDC.

What was your best moment at MS-TCDC?

MS TCDC is the best organization for having a unique brand especially in development training for partners. Also in my life with MS TCDC I see some high esteem to its staffs as having staff well fare, workers union, school fees support (although this school fees support were removed). All this helped us to move on our life. Last but not least, I find my life partner at MS TCDC!! (She laughs!).

‘’Wow! The best moment I enjoyed at MS TCDC it has been teaching Swahili language for those days I have been at the centre! I really enjoyed when I was teaching.’’. How would you like to see MS TCDC in the next 5-10 years? I expect MS TCDC to excel in delivering skills teachings and also on the improvement of people capabilities through the language and short courses, as well as through the academic programs we advertize in Tanzania and in West and East Africa. So far I would like to see MS TCDC having more participants.

Kwaheri!

This month of August has been the last we counted with three giant colleagues: Dr. Makando, Anna Mmari and Mama Gauda.

How would you like to see MS TCDC in the future?

We got through to share some time with two of them. Below, their last words!

As I said in the farewell party, I hope that the centre will grow more, and more than other competitors. I hope MS TCDC will stick on its best strategies because I still believe. *** We would like from Jarida to thank again for

Anna 1987-2014 Gaundencia 1999-2014 Anna Mmari was among the staff who worked since long ago at MS TCDC, her last position was Executive Assistant. Talking to her she shared…

Mama Gauda, as most of us where used to call her, has been in the centre for 15 years! If we were to count all those who learnt

Resulting from these visits where we presented our Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor (and the Masters for the school staff!), we got +140 interested youngsters, which we have contacted to share more information.

Nane Nane Trade Fair

During the five days the Nane Nane Fair was on, we were with a super well-placed stall attended by Geofrey, Emmanuel, Esther and shortly by Dr. Suma and Jaume. The result of this exhibition was having 138 people interested, where 50 amongst them promised to join with us in our different courses.

And so needs to be modern, trendy and inspiring seriousness and clarity. These have been the focus at designing the new business cards, where besides using the word cloud technique we standardize the information displaying adding a picture!

This is why we decided to design a new TShirts assuring we point out our centre location highlighting where is Arusha in Tanzania, and where Tanzania is in the African continent! Of course, it was imperative indicating our webpage and the full name of the centre. We hope you all like it and start wearing every Friday!
