a. Explain/describe the process of completing Step D. Please be detailed. I opened an image in Photoshop. I then clicked on the cropping tool, I selected the area of the image that I wanted to crop. I adjusted the height, sides and bottom of image by dragging the side corner handles to adjust the size of the cropping boundary. Then I clicked on the top checkmark to accept the crop changes. b. Explain how to preview an image’s printed size. You click on File then click on Print the left dialog box shows how the image will print and the right dialog box allows you to adjust the size and positioning of the image. c.

Explain how to trim an image. You click Image, click trim and the trim dialog box opens. Select the type of pixels you want to trim, either the top left pixel trim color or the bottom right pixel trim color, select the trim away top, bottom, left, or right select OK.

d. Explain the steps required to change the canvass size of an image. Click Image, Click Canvas Size, Type the new Canvas Dimensions in New Size area, Click OK. Note if you decrease a size, Photoshop will ask you if you want to Proceed click Proceed. e. What is the purpose of the ‘Resample Image’ checkbox in the Image Size dialog box? It changes the number of pixels in the image as the resolution is adjusted. f. Explain how to ‘Crop and Straighten Photos’ in Photoshop Click File, Click Automate, Click Crop and Straighten Photos, Photoshop straightens the photos, crops any blank space and copies the photo to separate image window. Original image remains in its own window.
