OXFORD DINING TRADITIONS Each year, we host a series of dining events in honor of prominent Oxford celebrations, national holidays, and religious occasions. Students gathered for these delicious celebrations presented by Oxford Dining.
Valentine’s Day Dinner - February 14 Mardi Gras - February 16 Beach Party- March 31 Earth Day - April 22 Pancake Breakfast - April 27
Residential Dining Highlights February celebrated Black History Month.
March was a celebration of Women’s History Month, and featured Chef Mai Pham recipes throughout the month.
Finally, the Aspretto Coffee Program was launched in residential dining to the delight of the students. Aspretto believes that the drinks served should not only taste great but also be good for your conscience. That's why all the products are naturally grown. Aspretto also makes sure to trace the journey from the farmer right to the cup.
Retail Highlights Students returned to find a new menu with lots of old favorites at the Ox Grill.

E-Newsletters/Facebook One goal for Oxford Dining was to increase the sustainable communications to our target audiences. With this in mind, electronic dining newsletters were sent out each semester to our listservs, and posted on the dining website. Please see the samples below:
Oxford Dining also launched its facebook profile this spring semester. Oxford Dining’s fans are updated on dining events across campus through our profile. Oxford Dining now has over 100 fans.
Sodexo Programs Spring Semester began with all staff and manager’s going through a refresher course in the Circle of Customer Excellence with over 90% attendance capture.
The Star Program got off to a nice start at Oxford this past semester, and Oxford Dining associates are able to win recognition from customers and their peers for excellent customer service. The following people were among the first to win stars at Oxford Dining: Suellen Brown, Geraldine Brown, and Walter Jackson.
