THE NELL HODGSON WOODRUFF
SCHOOL of NURSING
AT THE NELL HODGSON WOODRUFF SCHOOL OF NURSING,
we believe that a top-notch nursing education has the power to transform the health care delivery system—a noble aspiration that requires a continuous influx of high-achieving students. Nearly 80 percent of our students need financial aid to pursue an Emory education, so scholarship support is our top priority. Thanks to generous support from alumni and friends, the School of Nursing was able to provide need and merit based aid to 98 percent of our students last year. HELP US CONTINUE our tradition of excellence as we inspire
tomorrow’s nursing leaders by making a gift today. Your gift, of any size, will provide critical financial assistance for students in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.
For Kendra Raines the opportunity to attend the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing may not have been possible without scholarship support. She is one of two students who received the Elizabeth Mabry Scholarship, which was established when 265 alumni and friends joined forces to raise more than $100,000 in honor of longtime faculty member Elizabeth Mabry. Their efforts will ensure that deserving nursing students—like Kendra—will receive scholarships every year in perpetuity.
