There are a handful of popular books on mindful eating. While researching lists of the most popular ones I came across Eating Mindfully. It appears on a lot of the lists of favorite mindful eating books so it seemed worth giving a closer look. On Amazon the reviews are a mixed bag. The biggest complaint is that it’s not as “content rich” as most people are used to. You do need to remember that this is a daily motivation book so it’s meant to take just a few minutes to read the entry for that day so you can move on and carry the words with you. Don’t expect to spend hours reading it, more like 2-3 minutes each day. Some also said that not all of the herb or food recommendations were helpful to them, but the overwhelming response was that there was so much great stuff that a handful of days they didn’t enjoy didn’t stop the book from being worth reading.
