Whole Foods will be providing hamburgers, hotdog, or veggie burger with a side and drink for a $5 donation. All of the fund will be given to the Forgotten Soldier’s Outreach. The Forgotten Soldier’s Outreach is an organization that sends care packages to our soldier’s around the world. As media coverage has lessened about American’s wars, so has the care and concern the country overall has for our soldiers. As America still occupies hundreds of bases worldwide and is actively fighting in wars, our soldiers still need support and recognition. This means that our men and women are still out there fighting for our safety and freedom. The Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is here for our soldiers. Being away from friends and family can be hard on the minds of these people. Many soldiers deal with depression. Receiving letters and packages helps fight this depression which is the goal. This organization sends these to the soldiers when they do not have families or their families cannot afford to continually send packages.
