Events & Happenings Halfway to Halloween May 31st
Halfway to Halloween at Roger Dean Stadium is coming this Saturday at 5:00pm. Why should we get to dress up and collect free candy only once a year? Roger dean is revolutionizing May with their Halloween in summer event. They will have trick-or-treating and costume contests as the Jupiter Hammerheads take on the Dunedin Blue Jays. Kids under 15 are encourages to dress their best as they travel throughout the concourse filling their candy bags to the top. All contests will be voted on by the fans. Food Truck Safari May 31st Food, animals, and friends. Nothing spells a good time like those three words. If you have been following the various South Florida Food Truck events then here is another one for you. The food trucks visit the animals at the Palm Beach Zoo in order to raise funds for their welfare. The Truck list includes Tacos Veracruz, Overload Extreme Street Food, Poor Boys Kitchen, and more! These are just the beginning to the excitement. Listen to live music brought to you by Andre Michaud while you see animals in close encounters with the help of the local zookeepers. Entrance into the zoo is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Gate proceeds support the zoo. Food and Beverage are not included in admission, however each food truck donates a portion of all fund to the zoo at the end of the night. Strap on your stretchy pants and get your best lion impression as you visit the Palm Beach Zoo for your dining needs. Starting at 5pm, the largest tailgate party in South Florida will open its gates to participants. Food, Live entertainment and family fun zones will be offered throughout the night. Don’t forget the best part: A Firework Show! All proceeds from the event go to help low income children in families throughout the community.
