Pirate Fest Saturday October 25 2014- Sunday Oct 26 Avast ye maites. Der be a Festival comin’ yer way and we plan to dance the hempen jig with ye buckaroos whilst we make port in der Boynton Beach! Join the Pirates for a two day event of fun and excitement. The Pirates will be bringing their friends to perform magic shows, sword fights, and they even a live mermaid! Between the bounce houses, kid’s archery, and comedy shows you will spend hours in the nonstop place of fun! The Pirates received a great bounty on their last adventure and are in such great spirits they decided to do the entertainment for free! Venture to Ocean Avenue to share in this epic event. Activities include: Pirate Re-enactments, acrobats, Captain Jack, Live Mermaid Tank, Magic Show, Rock Climbing, Wheel Walker, Street Performers, Bounce Houses, and more! Fall Fest
Saturday October 25, 2014 The weather cools, pumpkin patches start to appear, and Halloween decorations adorn the neighborhoods as fall comes to town in South Florida! We may not be able to enjoy changing of colors, but we certainly can celebrate this season just as thoroughly as our northern friends. Royal Palm Beach is getting in the spirit with their Fall Festival on Saturday from 1pm-9pm at the Commons Park. Enjoy live music from “Fond Cash Band” as well as a “Kiss Alive” tribute band. While listening to music enjoy your favorite food trucks then walk through the pumpkin patch. Don’t forget to bring Rover and enter him into the dog costume contest at 3pm followed by the human contest at 5pm. Hayrides along with Kid fun Zones are sure to make great family memories and guest appearances of our friendly pirates will be enjoyed on Blackbeard’s Pirate Ship. Last, when the night gets dark, enjoy the thrilling fire show with Groovolution at 6:30pm. Halloween in the Hammock Saturday October 25, 2014 Have you ever wondered what creeps through the night? Have you heard a gentle rustle of leaves as you walk through the Florida forest? Do you want to know what slithers through the dark? Hear the answers at the annual Halloween in the Hammock. Saturday September 6, 2014 If you live in South Palm Beach, then this celebration is close to home at Gumbo Limbo in Boca Raton. The staff creates the perfect outdoor event in the woods where you see the darkness come alive as professionals take you on a spooky walk through the woods learning about the creatures of the night. Charity Golf Tournament Sunday October 26, 2014 Lake Worth is throwing its 15th annual charity golf tournament. Raising money for the DLR Charities, INC who benefit the local community. The day will include a silent auction and raffle prizes. The tournament will be a scramble format and held at 8am at the Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course, 1 7th Avenue North.
