Bluegrass Spring Music Jam
March 20-22 The village of Yesteryear hosts this year’s bluegrass spring music jam. From Friday March 20 through Sunday the 22nd, bluegrass melodies will fill the South Florida Fair Grounds. This year is featuring Rhonda Vincent, The Boxcars, The roys, and many more. There will also be corn hole and horseshoe competitions on Saturday as well as a buffalo wing eating contest. Costco is hosting a cake walk on Friday and Coca-Cola will be hosting its bar-b-que sauce competition.
Own a classic car? Entrance is free for all Hot rods, Custom cars, Classic cars, muscle cars, and antique cars when entered into the car show cruise in. Free entrance will be granted for all driving into this one of a kind show. Admission is $15 per person per day or $36 for all 3 days. Parking will be free. Tropic Fest March 21 South Florida houses a unique ecosystem due to being surrounded by water on three sides. Our environment has been formed into a tropical paradise unlike any other. With this in mind, Jupiter is hosting the first ever Tropic Fest this Saturday from 1-6pm. This event will feature tropical themed music, food, and vendors in celebration of Florida’s beautiful landscape. There will be a live Steel Drum show from 1-2 pm followed by DJ Sunny Jon from 3-6pm. A Parade will follow the Junkoo Band’s performance throughout the event plaza. There will be free face painting, hair braiding, and balloon artists for your children’s delights. Spring Festival
March 22 Spring is upon us which brings my favorite event: Egg hunts! Boca Raton kicks off the season with their spring festival and egg-a-palooza on Sunday March 22 from 11am-4pm at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Hosted by South Florida Parenting and the Boca Forum, this festival is open to the public for kids to enjoy. Families are to bring their own baskets to collect eggs filled with candy and toys, with a few special eggs hidden that will be exchanged for special prizes. This family event will have vendor booths, food booths, and entertainment. There will be bounce houses and other fun activities as well as a special appearance of the Easter bunny. Run Walk Four Paws March 22 The Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue invites you and your pooch out for their annual 5k Run/ Walk this Sunday. The Justine Bartlett Animal rescue is dedicated to fostering puppies and kittens that are not of age to be adopted as well as houses many unwanted animal in Palm Beach County. The Foundation began in 2007 with a group of volunteers and today is one of the largest foster programs in Palm Beach Coutny. Their annual run/ walk raises money for this beloved organization. Registration fee is $40 for all walks. There are four categories, the run, run with dogs, walk, and walk with dogs. Space is limited so sign up today! Second Chance puppies and kittens with be on site for adoptions as well as entertainment, vendors, food and other activities. An Egg hunt for children will begin at 12:30pm.
